In the early spring when I took stock of what I needed, I ended up went buying about 100 dollars worth of Zman baits on top of all the other stuff I bought... My local tackle shop has an early spring sale with 15% off everything.

Yesterday, I found a bag of roughly 100 dollars in zman baits in my closet that I forgot I had...I bought it back in December of last year with a sale and coupon from DSG.  This is when you know there is a problem.

I don't see the problem!  Just means you don't have to spend money on them this year!

After trapping the bait monkey in the closet for a 1.5 months, I caved to a $20CDN Jackall Gantarel Jr. (scale gill) on Amazon.ca. They go for $50CDN, oh and I grabbed a couple of zman trout tricks and trout jigs and a pack of finesse worms.

Strangely, last time I went fishing, there was a rat that kept climbing out on a branch, then jumping off into the water, then he would swim back to the bank, go back out and jump off the Branch into the water again to swim back.

Would of been incredible if it was using a swing rope...

I picked up my 2nd Lews TP1 7' MH-F from Academy last night!  $64.99 !!!!  Not a better rod at that price!  I have one set as my Frog rod as the MH has a great backbone and nice tip to walk top water - and the new one will be my Flip/Pitch with 17# Invisx.  Now I just need a new reel????  Decisions, decisions!?!

What is a solid price to be looking at them for?  I had one of these in the past and loved that reel....until it went to the bottom of a lake with my rod!

They're going anywhere from $94 to $112 depending where your looking. I got mine from Amazon at $106. I paid $140 for my previous 2. BB1s are a good buy as well on Amazon.

You may want to hurry on the purchase if you want one, looks to me like they are discontinuing the MB.  Replacing it with the new MP they introduced at ICAST this year.
