Beauty haul! I guess the Dark "Sleeper" is outta the bag and sold out everywhere.

What's all the hype behind this lure?

hype

I think that's just it. Don't see why it would be wildy better than any other swimbait. It's probably a decent bait but things will die down. The fact that it's sold out is making people want it more.

I haven't looked into the bait at all so was curious to see if there's some sort of action that it produces that hasn't been made before. I like the idea of how they hide the hook though! Or should I say the Bait Monkey likes it more :)

They are perfectly cute in the right way that guys want them (me too) and their action is so good it makes me want to eat one. Looks like a tadpole/madtom or goby and also a sick fish darting up to the surface half belly up and darting back down. Definitely catches fishermen. Great action, too.

My BIL caught a 40" Northern on a 1/2oz Dark Sleeper in Shiaruo (white/chartreuse) and I caught this little football roughly 10 minutes later on a 1oz in Wakasagi; both dragging and hopping on bottom. They catch more than just fisherman.

Awesome. I expect to catch with them, too but it’s still too early here.

Got me another freebie from the bait monkey today. Caught me a jerkbait today. It was lined up with braided line so I pulled it all in, but sadly no rod and reel on the other end.

Tiny little rust spot on the front hook, but otherwise looks to be in pretty good shape.

Nice! I just got a replacement 100 Bone Shad in the mail a couple days ago. It was killing them one day last year when my buddy went back to cast and caught my line with his bait and broke my line, sending my Flit flying somewhere that we never did find.

Made a pass through the Walmart sporting goods today and like usual I did not come out empty handed.

The scale was $18.00 and a backup to an identical one I have owned for 3 years.

20190505_151832.thumb.jpg.6841f6f3bf8d62eec667ecbf924c4c3b.jpg

The Creme lures are relatively new to the local Walmart.. They are $1.25 a pack

I have used them all and they catch fish.

The stickbait is somewhere between a Senko and a Yum Dinger.

The creature bait is nearly identical to a Baby Brush Hog.

The soft jerkbait is nearly identical to a super fluke.

For $1.25 a pack it is hard to pass up.

This was a very nice Easter present. I really like these reels as I try replace my OG Curados with them. I found this one @Kruger Farms outta Minnesota, and came already pre-spooled with my line of choice. Thanks again David G. for the great customer service.

Tackle Warehouse order for spring smallies and walleye arrived today. 2 more rippin raps on the way in colors that were backordered. I didn't have any success with the keitech swing impact fats that I tried but I think these easy shiners will be better. Going to use them on jigheads and maybe a dropshot later in the summer.

And here's the other two. Backordered items aren't so bad, its like christmas came again when they show up.
