Let's see... since Christmas eve I've bought

12 Norman crankbaits

2 WEC cranks that cost the same as the normans...

15 various topwaters

1 shimano stradic

1 Lews tournament mb

1 Falcon rod

1 Boyd Duckett rod

About 20 packs of plastic

1 Navionics chip (US and Canada)

3 colors of JJs Magic.. Plano boxes

Most of it was on sale... it's almost like I'm ready to go fishing or something

My rod came in on Tuesday, a couple of days earlier than expected. First time purchasing a rod online and not getting a chance to feel/inspect it out in store, but I had an idea what I was getting into. The packaging was next level, it came in a thick compressed corrugated tube (no fluting), bubble wrapped in 5 sections with a foam tip protector and plastic wrap. I bought it off Amazon.ca, I could tell Dobyns packaged the rod up from all the shipping labels. This gave me a lot of confidence in buying from Dobyns directly going forward. I wanted to share in case others were hesitant to buy online from Dobyns or Amazon. I'll take pics of the packaging, if anyone is interested.

Completed my swimbait combo this week. Dobyns Fury 7'9 SB with the Quantum Monster that I picked up during the TW Christmas Sale. Spooled it with 65 lb Sufix 832 today. Pretty excited to take a couple trips to NoCal this year and test it out.

Added some square bills to round out my box, and spent some time organizing things while watching the snow melt. I didn't have any natural colors, so since I was already at cabelas.

And the top water box. Never tried a spook before, and grabbed the pop r just in case.

Still have some LTB stuff I need to go through and organize, mostly soft plastics.

I learned to fish topwater baits with a Heddon Spook and once you get the cadence down its pretty easy.

An out of the blue garage sale score! When I'm driving by one and see even the slightest hint of fishing related stuff I'll stop. Tends to be total junk. Every now and again....I won't even say what I paid. Rediculous deal!

That Vision 110 is no good. Send it to me and I'll dispose of it for you.

Yeah, well I just got a special delivery of “I don’t want to see anymore boxes in the mail” from my wife today.

For this reason, I started having my deliveries to the local UPS store for pick up - empty it out in the back of my Jeep, throw the box in the trash outside the UPS store, go home as usual. Next time she leaves, place everything in the tackle box. Done.

Now you don’t think she does anything like this for her purchases do you?  I’m sure there wouldn’t be a shoe/makeup/clothes monkey for women would there??

I’m having stuff delivered to my work. And, yeah, there’s a handbag in the closet that cost more than most bass boats..........

Blue, don't know if you crappie fish any, but these work great on a jig pole. I have a couple on my 11ft poles.

I just purchased a 5.3 to 1 KastKing Royal Legend Elite reel for $59.98 on Amazon, using a promotional code.

To go with a  speed demon pro crankbait rod I won in a December giveaway.

Their top of the line rod and reel for $59.98 is a pretty good deal. that is $129.00 off of the normal price.

sometimes things just work out.

Got a couple new little finesse cranks for the cold water months from overseas today. One Megabass, one Jackall, both for around $15 total, didn't figure it could hurt to try them.

What’d you snag those cranks for?
