The bait monkey has been going nuts lately. Been buying the Herring color baits by the case.

@Coonedawg do you lose alot of lures or something? That's alot ?

Fishing buddies had me pick them up for them since only one store carries that color in the world. But I do like to keep a stockpile for myself

Found this for 25% off. Since it's a 3 bank it looks like I'm going to have to upgrade to a 36v trolling motor now...

@NorcalBassin, might I suggest the MK 440PC for all four our your marine batteries. I have been extremely pleased with this model when I replaced the stock Ranger unit in my boat. Oh, and it did pair nicely with a new Fortrex 112...

Thank you for the suggestion and if I had "only" 4 batteries heading in that's what I'd be doing. I have a 20ft v-hull and am not too concerned about weight, so I'm going to a 5 battery setup with 3 up front (when I make the move to 36v) and 2 in the back (1 for electronics, 1 for cranking). The 2 bank I'm replacing up front will go in the back. I'm running 70lbs right now and can't wait to get up to 112 like yours. Sounds like you have a pretty sweet setup. ?

I've been looking to get a swimbait rod for a while and patience finally payed off.

I picked up the DOBYNS FURY 7'9" MED-HEAVY SWIMBAIT CASTING ROD FR 795SB

I also bought  took a  RIVER2SEA WHOPPER PLOPPER 130 TOPWATER BAIT in rainbow trout to qualify for free shipping. The total price dropped by a buck and some change.

$91.81 shipped. I did upgrade to premium ground shipping for $3.95 hoping at least trained monkeys will handle the package.

Curado e7 and Chronarch MGL... still a big fan of both of those and they were bumped to other rods. After all the bumping was done a couple BPS PQ's were demoted to backup duty.

Had a cool package show up in the mail today.  Was looking to get my first Trick Darter, and while exploring I found a seller on ebay with good prices and some other interesting lures.  Ended up combining shipping and getting this MB Vision 95 as well.  I have no idea the vintage of the bait, definitely doesn't seem "new".  Maybe 10 years old?  (Update, its labeled 2004 on the bait).  I look forward to fishing both.

X-80 I think is in PM Fine Wakasagi

Vision 95 is in Al Hakone

That has to be the most beautiful spinnerbait I have ever seen. If I owned one I wouldn't know whether to frame it or fish it!!  The blades alone are a work of art!  And that head is amazing.

Bait Monkey got me today.......

I picked up another St. Croix Avid 7' MH Fast, 4 packs of soft plastic, a white Wopper Plopper, a spinner bait I lost, hooks for the year, some P-Line CXX 12lb, and 8 tungsten bullet weights.  All for under $200.  I can't say where just yet but another tackle shop is biting the dust.

I am weak. Got some money from the parents for Christmas - was told that it was to be 'play' money.

Ordered my pitching rig (Fuego CT-XS with an Aird-X 7' H/F rod ), couple colors of shroom heads, Z-Man TRD worms (3 colors), Yamamoto Senkos (3 colors), a couple chatterbaits and another 3600 box for my bag to hold the ordered worms (putting me to 3 boxes of soft baits).

Also ordered the battery box for the canoe - last purchase needed for the setup.

I also stashed away money for a trailer for the canoe. No more lifting it, and since I'll be putting it in the garage - no need to un-ship anything between fishing trips.

These may not be anything special, but it's been a while since I've had multiple bass in such a short period of time. These sweet baits did not cost much. Bait monkey saved my wallet this time.

Found this today at Cabela’s.

Anyone ever have any luck with one? Seems to be a smaller version of the discontinued XPS Swimbait.

bought one a t Cabelas a month ago.

tried at at La Cygne and snagged it on the second cast. got it free and lost it on the fourth cast.  it probably works, but I would only use it in open water. It does not swim nose down like a Crankbait. The angle it swims at digs the treble hook into anything it touches.
