I didn't get the chance to try the Power Bomb this year, but will be throwing it come spring. As far as the wire being soft, it appears to be the same frame used on the Super V-Flat baits and having played around with it last night, I'm sure it is. I've used the Super V-Flat for a few years now and have probably only had to tune the frame a couple of times after multiple catches. Although they don't state what type of frame they use on the package, if I had to guess I would say they are using titanium wire. The frame reminds me of the frames used on the pre VMC Terminator T1 (I don't have any of the newer ones.) and the Strike King Titanium Elite baits. Their frames (Megabass) sure have the same characteristics of titanium. (flexibility, snapback) I can also store these and any other titanium frame baits in those Plano Spinnerbait boxes without deforming the frames. (I do not recommend this box for stainless frames.) The next time you find you have to "tune" your Power Bomb, hold the upper part of the frame in one hand, line tie between fore finger and thumb, and hold the head of the bait in your other hand, then twist the head, not the frame. This works on the V-Flat and brings the frame back in line with the hook.

thank you that is probably my issue as i was twisting the wire and not the head

Turns on pretty quick, 3-4 seconds at most. 15% coupon off on Amazon right now. You get the scale and a gripper.

Cool, thanks!

I spent $1000 on Tackle Warehouse's Black Friday sale. I replaced all of my lost lures from last season and bought new lures to try for next season, three new rods and one new reel. A solid $250 of savings, so I'm happy!

Just bought a bag of swamp crawlers and a dobyns fury 7’ ML spinning rod. Almost bought a NASCI but it wasn’t on sale so I’m going to wait.

In between shopping for the kids for Christmas, a Tatula 100xs for them to give to me for Christmas, to be followed by a Recon Elite rod to put it on for my birthday next spring before the season begins.

I was supposed to get a raise effective 11/1 which means back pay. I figure if it goes through, the back pay will more than cover it.

Plus I lost a ton of lures last year, and there's a lot of them I want to replace because they were successful and a lot oof new ones to try. That will largely cover my tackle needs for all of next year minus line and maybe a soft plastic resupply -- plus three new rods and a new reel.

Hey man I’m all for getting tackle .. I always look at them online. My mind goes as follows “ well I already have 5 walking baits that all catch fish but this walking bait also looks good and will catch fish so I better get it “ then I end up with 10 walking baits bc hey ya never know right ? That 10 pounder might want this special walking bait instead of the other 9 haha

Most of it was cranks with different wobbles and some lipless and some square bills and spinnerbaits of different sizes and with different blades. I also have to kids so try to keep a few extras in case they're fishing what I want to be fishing at any given time and it's nice to have backups especially on my goto lures. I don't worry about my selection as much with most other lures.

I find certain wobbles or blades work exceptionally well in some lakes and at certain times of the year, etc.

It could be worse, I could be spending all my money on drugs ?

pMacY0N.jpgNot “baits” but tackle.

Dyckett is running a weekend special, 2 Terex rods for $100. I got a 7-0 Heavy and a 6-8 Medium Heavy.

I spent Black Friday shopping online for others and when I pulled my credit card out of my wallet I found a Bass Pro gift card that I forgot about that was given to me last Christmas. Found money!

So, being a single dad of a broke 13 year old I decided to buy myself a few things for Christmas. Unlike a lot of guys on this forum, I have only 5 or 6 plano boxes of lures and no swimbaits in my arsenal. So with the found money I picked up a River2Sea S-Waver and a STORM Live Kickin Shad.

They should arrive on Wednesday, so I doubt they will spend any time under the Christmas tree.

I almost made it without spending any money, but I couldn't pass up War Eagles for $2.99 apiece. Kept it reasonable and only spend $40 though.

Are we talking only Black Friday, correct? Lol

Just like @Bluebasser86I wasn't gonna buy anything, since I wasnt sure what I need and didn't have much time to do some shopping. Woke up early on Friday, prepared to go to work browsed thru some site while having coffee end up at Tackle warehouse and remembered I need Mend-it. With that little time, end up spending $60.58 to save shipping for a bottle of Mend-it?.

Normally, I make an effort to not spend money on Black Friday, because having employees have to work at midnight or 2am in the morning and wreck their Thanksgiving is ridiculous! However, I had a full wishlist of lures and rods to purchase, so I figure I might as well take advantage.

Just a stock up purchase on Black Friday. Some Rage Manaces and some Suffix 832 line that will hopefully get me to finally change out some line on some of my reels. I think I have taken the fact that braid lasts a long time to a new level.

Also so got a spool of the suffix Flo Orange performance braid for my jerkbait rod. Hoping this will speed up my learning curve on detecting the slack line strikes, so I don’t miss as many fish.

We don’t do the stores, but figure tackle warehouse people work normal hours and have Thursday off. Guessing the sale kicking in on the website is just preprogrammed so hands off for them.

That's what I figure as well.

I got my Tackle Warehouse Black Friday email at 9:39 PM Thursday night. At 9:46 selfsame night I had spent $468 after the discounts. You either order early or end up with lots of backorders.

Through a combination of bad luck turning into good luck, I will end up with a Gen 3 Revo S (left handed, was supposed to be right), Gen 3 Revo STX, and Gen 4 Revo SX under the tree this year for under 200 bucks.

Pretty sure the left handed S won’t be a problem since I use spinning reels a lot, and lets me find out if I like left handed baitcasters.

I did the same- wanted to get my free shipping from TW only needed a few things from there and figured 5.75 was not too bad and finished out the order.  Checked Outlet and for 2.99 i ripped up a few $20 bills extra :D

I don't think I can pricematch TW on an order already made- but I am going to check on Monday.

49 jigheads for Ned Rigs. Stocking up for the 2019 season.

Honestly I bought nothing as I already have too much stuff as it is. For next season the only things I actually need are some FC line, bullet weights, and about $25 worth of soft plastics.
