I knew that getting into it, but it still stings a little. 1 Quote

I tried switching once, it was awful, and I can cast with my left hand, so I'm not really gaining anything by switching. It's a risk I'm willing to take to get the 9.1. Quote

Yep, I love it, it zips line back in so fast for pitching and honestly I kinda like slow-rolling a big spinnerbait on it, there is something soothing and meditative about how slow you have to crank the handle. I have been really really startled by a fish grabbing it a few times. Quote

Not sure if u walk it but that's what they are mainly designed to do, like a Yellow Majic or Rico. Quote

Jacob Phelps Posted June 3, 2017 Posted June 3, 2017 Just picked up this tournament MB last night at gander, 20% off. Used it this morning and LOVED it. Took no time at all to get it dialed in. 7 Quote
RMax Posted June 4, 2017 Posted June 4, 2017 Got my Tatula SV TWS a week ago. I've used it a few times this week and will post a review soon. I highly recommend it at the price. Casts beautifully. 1 Quote

Super User Master Bait'r Posted June 5, 2017 Author Super User Posted June 5, 2017 So I'm reshuffling the deck as I often do.... decided my ML spinning rod simply isn't light enough, so I'm trading it in for something that has a range of 1/32-1/6 rather than a 1/8-3/8. Hoping my Stella balances out with it, but if not I'll have to sell that too and get a 1000 sized reel. Also I've got a Lew's BB1 Pro full of 17# CXX that Would go perfectly on a swimbait rod, so I'all either pick up a Daiwa DX or maybe a Leviathan if I can find a deal on one. That oughta round out the package for a bit. The "middle" combos are dialed, but my spectrum extremes could use some polishing, as I love extremely small and extremely huge baits. 5 hours ago, Bluebasser86 said: There's a billion carp in every puddle anywhere near me, don't need them in my pond too. boostr Posted June 5, 2017 Posted June 5, 2017 Made a pilgrimage to the closest BPS, which is an hour and a half away in Bridgeport Conn. See if I could get more of a selection of bait and tackle than at my local DSG... This BPS leaves a lot to be desired in the Freshwater bait and tackle department for what I was looking for (It's probably more friendlier to the salt water fishermen because of its location). They don't even carry Rage Chunks. So I made do with what they did have. I did get the Storm Arashi crank baits at half price. The Glacier Gloves were needed, and the Plano plastic bait box is great. I wouldn't of been able to buy those at DSG. Also bought a couple of pfds for my wife and kid for the boat 4 Quote
Scarborough817 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 got sick of tackle being unorganized in the boat so i grabbed a couple planos and a couple boxes to store everything. then i spent part of my night re organizing everything 19 Quote

Would also like to see the inside of that swimbait box to see how it's configured or how u configured it and how it's used to hold baits, thanks man. Quote
Scarborough817 Posted June 6, 2017 Posted June 6, 2017 they are the ones that came in this tackle bag as far as the swimbait box goes i don't have a picture but i will take one when i get home. it was an old case from a poker set that i added foam to the bottom and top of the box this allows me to put my glidebaits and bull shads in and have them not move around they also have hook bonnets on them so they don't get hooked into the foam Quote

JigMaster4 Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 Got this today at cabelas/DSG, total came out to around $14 or so. Now that I think about it, probably should have gotten some more cranks, along with some storm arashi's considering they were only $3! 7 Quote
TxHawgs Posted June 8, 2017 Posted June 8, 2017 The Jackall is nice, it's a 1/2oz but a much smaller profile than normal 1/2oz buzzbaits. 4 Quote
