TriCityBassin' Posted January 4, 2017 Posted January 4, 2017 Apparently robo does one off/regional custom colors. This was a special color for Arizona. I have had a lot of success dropshotting a similar color in a custom bait I can't get anymore. I had to have them. Quote

I got the 6.3:1 when the deal was first revealed. I love these reels. I also have a 7.3:1 on one of my jig rods. The 5'er was tempting even though I already have an E5 for deep cranking duty. I talked myself out of it though 3 Quote

It's definitely a first for me. I want to upgrade from my Tracker 170 in the next year or two though, so when I see gear I want (but don't need) I'm trying to tell myself to stash that cash away instead. We'll see how long it lasts.... 1 Quote

Super User Cgolf Posted January 5, 2017 Super User Posted January 5, 2017 Cleaning up I found a couple of TW packing lists. Which got me to thinking that I should pull up my orders on TW, only goes back to 2014, and figure out the percentage of the items I ordered that I actually used. Not sure if this is smart or not, but I have been really trying to order what I need vs what the bait monkey adds to my cart;) 2 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted January 5, 2017 Super User Posted January 5, 2017 Wow just did the numbers and was it ugly. Overall since 2014 I have used 38% of the baits I purchased from TW. The good news is that the most recent order that I counted for this, memorial day, 60% of those baits were used. All is not lost though, because a lot of it was stocking up on jigs, I had maybe 2 before this and craw trailers, Z man stuff and some rapala baits. The type of fishing I have been doing of late has dictated that some of the baits wouldn't have been used yet, and well in some cases I do have a few color options to burn through. Looking at the list though, a lot of the baits that haven't been used yet are on my must try list this year. I have been tracking the baits I use in a log, and then used this data for my BF order, so I am hoping the percentage used will continue to rise in the future. It is eye opening though if you go through this exercise. I would love to show this to my wife and explain that this is why I spend a bit of time researching stuff, but she would just take the wrong side and say I order too much lol. 2 Quote

I think that mine would be approximately 1%....you should feel better about yourself. 1 Quote
IndianaFinesse Posted January 5, 2017 Posted January 5, 2017 I think I've actually used all of my stuff at one time or another, but only a small portion makes it into my regular line up. Quote
