It is... And, at first, I think I bought it for just that reason.  "Whoa, that looks neat."  I'd fished through almost all the colors from my first order from Siebert (made a couple years ago when I wanted to try jig fishing, but never got around to it 'til this summer) until only the bluegill was left.

Finally, I put the bluegill color on and it's been the best producer of the summer in clear water - both swimming it and bottom contact.  Funny how something can go from sitting in the tackle box to 'confidence bait' after a few good fish. :)

I'm patiently waiting for a review/pics of some savage gear suicide duck action. I think I remember seeing a couple on here.

Still in rehab riding out my last "setback" when someone slipped my credit card with a TW Labor Day sale notice under my door . Ha ! I said , I'm not falling for that trick !! ... About 10 minutes later someone slipped a TW discount code under my door and ... I couldn't help myself !! The number I called however was NOT to TW  - it went straight to the hospital Chief Psychologist !! ... Looks like I just earned myself another 90 days in the joint :( ...

I'm hooked on custom paint colors on Crankbaits done by River Rat he's on facebook. I finally found someone who can repaint my lures with a new custom paint job. I been searching for someone who does this.

My new baby duck lures finally arrived from dicks sporting goods too.

Picked up a pack of SK blade minnows to try as a trailer for my spinnerbaits. Now if fall would cooperate with me and bring me some cooler weather I'll be a happy camper.

A local tackle store is closing up shop and has lures marked down to buy two get three free. I have enough roboworms for a year or two.

I picked up an Ethos Micro for $35 and a Pflueger Supreme baitcaster for $41 at Academy today. Been working so much OT I haven't had nearly as much time to fish, but I've got money to buy stuff for whenever I get to go again :)

I ordered one of the new Pflueger President baitcasters yesterday as well and it should get here Thursday, hopefully before my tournament that night so I can get some use out of it.

Wish I had an academy nearby. Just Walmart, DSG, and a couple of mom and pop shops with so-so selections. I know I can order online but it just ain't the same.

Since the word is that the Norman lure company was sold or closed up I put in two orders for the Norman thin N Crankbaits. I have a pretty good stash already but the kids will have plenty.

with the Norman thin N in killer Chartruese try it at dusk. Use a dead stick presentation. Leave it in one spot and twitch it. Make it irratic in one spot.

after bps discontinued the hottest topwater lure of all time the bps/xps topnocker and I was devistated I stock up on every lure I find that works. Only the hottest ones.
