I just did almost the same.  Upgraded from a 3600 soft-sider to a 3600 guide series and it let me add a few trays...  Maybe should have gone with the 3700 though, it BARELY fits it all!  (Maybe that's a good thing for now though?)

This is my dilemma and I do not know anyone here solves it. If anyone has a good solution let me know. I  will get a plano 3700 for new baits, techniques etc. Then I have to fill up the entire box because the empty space drives me nuts. So I buy more baits until the box is filled to capacity. Then the Box is full so I can't put any more baits in it. So I buy a second, a third, fourth box. I have 4 boxes of cranks and it is jam packed.

I always need different colors, new baits, etc. I am beginning to realize that I dont need to compete with the guys on the Elite Series with their boats, electronics, rods, and baits. Maybe I will actually be able to put the monkey back in his cage.

it's worse when you have to pick up 2 colours of every lure you buy.

I had pretty good luck on Amazon. I bought two  revo stx gen 3 for $147.25 minus $20 Abu mail in visa rebate for 127.25 a piece.

I also bought a Veritas 2.0 for 79.00 and they accidentally sent me two in the box and told me to keep the second one!!!

I just pulled the trigger on a new Shimano Stradic FK 2500 spinning reel! I. Am. Psyched!!! I also got a 600yd spool of 8# Yo-Zuri hybrid line too. It's (14.99 vs 12.99 for 275yd...seems like a good deal).  After xmas gift cards and a few promo codes the $220 order was $127.

Took advantage of the Sebile sale. 3 colors of the lipless crank, 3 colors of the bull crank, and 2 colors of the smaller bull crank. I bought 4 of each color. Total came to around $78. Not bad for 32 quality hardbaits!

What really drives me nuts is knowing that I have  bought stuff that I either won't use, or won't want to use because I prefer a different type or brand. I don't mind space in a tray, that just means there's room for trying new stuff!

I don't have any pics right now so you're just gonna have to take my word for it... The bait monkey has been quite rambunctious this off season. So far, I have picked up a few lure lots with various cranks, jigs and a few frogs (which I have never thrown before), 3 of the Chinese BFS spools, a TD-Z 100ML which was missing some parts but had the spool (which is what I really wanted), a partial TD-Z 103ML which I'll be using for heavy topwaters, a Pixy Type R which I'll be using for spybaits (once I have a rod built), a few Spinbait 80's, 1 spool of #6 P-Line FC, 2 spools of Sniper (8# & 12#), 2 spools of P-Line C21 (#6 & #8), 1 spool of #15 P-Line CX, 3 spools of Yo-Zuri Ultra Soft Hybrid (#6, #10 & #15), a Td-Ito 103HL which I'll be using for finesse jigs and weightless senkos with a ZPI 002 spool, a Pixy Airy Red for shakey heads and tubes (complete with box, oil and papers), and most recently I scored a used 7' ML Tatula for $80 shipped then a new 7' M Tatula for $90 shipped. I have to give the monkey credit though, he made sure that what he wanted was either a great used deal or on sale...
