TW sale stuff. If I can't catch a fish in January I'm at least going to feed the monkey

Big fan of those Bass Patrol jigs.

This is my first time trying them. TW doesn't sell the dobyns jigs anymore and these are a very similar build just a different hook so figured I would test them as an alternative. ~$3.50 sale price is pretty nice too.

On my re-up for the tw sale I decided to get a quick qube for my fishing bag. So far so good and keeps all my plastics in one place. Can't wait to put it to the test once the weather warms up

I got the mesh cause it was a bit cheaper. I got tired of having to dig threw pouches and pulling out all my boxes to get that one bag that slid under them. Hopefully this solves my issues.

I really do not need much for this coming season, but just took advantage of the TW sale just to stock a few more odds and ends at a discount.  Replenished some hooks and jig heads, got one more color of jerkbait I have been wanting to try, and also going to give a megabass vatalion a try is it was one of the last baits on my list for larger baits I wanted to experiment with.

I load it up with all the random odds and ends that don't really fit in a backpack or tackle flat when I'm out.

This is the year I decided to set up an entirely separate tackle system for my kayak so I don’t have to rifle through my boat tackle to get what I want for each kayaking trip. In the last three weeks I’ve spent about $375 including the Bass Pro order I just placed but haven’t yet received. So this is only part of what I’ve bought. But about half of those spinnerbaits you see there are for the boat, and then I took a bunch from the boat to add to the kayak, as well as some more crankbaits, and a whole lotta plastics. I don’t fish jigs much so I only have a couple just to represent that area. Usually I bottom fish with a T-rig.

This was from black Friday sale from a local tackle shop.. 50% off Keitech... I normally do a bulk buy each memorial day sale at tackle warehouse for my 4.8 swing fat impacts but with the current state of the Canadian dollar, won't be saving as much as previous years after shipping and customs charges..

Those Nomads have my interest as well. Seen a few ads & watched couple videos. Let me know how they perform.

Btw, think I have same exact kitchen countertops in my house. 😁

I do not have those particular baits, but I have a Nomad swimbait that I use in the surf for bluefish. It has a great action and is extremely durable. Pretty sure they use the bigger ones for GTs down in Australia, so they are overengineered for a lot of North American species.

Grabbed a couple of those myself. What are you gonna throw them on. Might finally be my excuse to grab a dc 706 cb
