Scheels clearance rack, $9.99 each.

Looks like Scheels is starting up the dump of open-water gear in preparation for ice-fishing season.

I hate it when they do that. I think they lose a lot of business with at model, including mine.

Been a fan of Bizz Baits since they were a site sponsor here a number of years ago. I haven't bought much tackle this year, but I saw they had some good looking stuff in their custom shop, including some limited-run plastic colors and "Fall Fry" triple willow spinnerbait:

I went window shopping at a sporting goods retailer in my area today NOT intending to purchase anything and left $28.04 dollar's behind but I feel good about my purchase as I believe you should buy what you like as long as your finances allow "treat yourself" every so often

Got the new KGB 'Lil Guy" in Threadfin.    Missed the first couple drops of this bait, but finally scored one.    It's so much smaller than any other glide I own.   The Chad Shad makes it look like a morsal 🤣

If that doesn't tempt the most leery bass into eating, nothing will. That sucker looks real.

@NorthernBasser  Absolutely brother, I think it's the most realistic swimbait I own.

The first run ever on this bait was a Bluegill pattern that was incredible, sure hope they do another run in that color.     They might have been the most realistic small bluegill bait I've ever seen.

It's .8oz and 4.5", it has the same hooks as 110 Jrs have 😁   Think I'm going to upgrade them to a bigger size or at least use STX 38s on them.

I should not be allowed to watch any more YouTube videos.

JDM Expride 6'10 Medium, OneTen +1 Jr. in Frosted Wakasagi and ITO Clear Laker, and the Zumverno 95 SP in ST Purple and S Smelt.

I'm going to pair the Expride with a Curado 71 MGL but I might keep it braid to leader for now.

Stay away from SwimbaitUnderground. His granddaddy, the bait silverback hangs out there most days…

More TW stuff from the 40% off sale.

Never fished the Okuma stuff before, so figured what the hey. They also had a promo where you get free cork knobs with a purchase of the X-Series reel. If I don't care for the round knobs of the Hakai, I may replace them with these (if they fit).

The Castaic squarebills are solid baits. And at $2.50 each, even better. I have one lake in particular where bone colored cranks do great.

The Keitech Cameron is a great crawfish imitator. You rig it backwards (you can go weightless or nail weight) like the Fat Ika, and it does a nice job gliding away from you. Popping it off the bottom then letting it fall really does look like a swimming crawfish. Of course being Keitech, it's very soft and not too durable.

Decided to give the new Z-Man Chattershad trailer a try. Got the smaller 3.5 to rig on the Mini Max. I'm guessing I'll trim the skirt a tad.

How do you have such restraint to accidentally order? All mine are purposeful! 😂😂

All I'm going to say is the lures arrive at my house by accident, that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

My Daiwa Procyon went south on me this summer (bummer!) so I had a hole in my spinning reel arsenal.  American Fishing Legacy was blowing out the original Shimano Vanfords since a newer version was released this year.  That's my favorite time to swoop in and get a great reel at a big discount!

Shimano Vanford 3000 $181 with free shipping and no taxes.  Plus I used $14 in customer loyalty points so the price was $167.  That's a tidy bit of shopping IMO!

My wife is leaving later today on her girls trip.  I could not have gotten these at a better time. Not shown is one swim jig.

Picked up two 13 fishing Envy Black 3 crankbait rods and a couple ebay finds.  Rods are 7'4" MH rated 1/4-1.5oz.  Weighed 132g on my new scale.  Stole them @ $109/each.  13 totally copied the BLX limber line on these with 5A cork and similar blanks.

*Edit- I took a pic of the '46T' logo because I believe it was meant for the standard Envy 3.  The crankbait series is supposed to be a 30T Toray T glass blank.

Well, I couldn't fish the Bassmaster Caddo Lake event this week because as usual, work got in the way. The smart thing to do would have been to just bank the money I would have spent.

I'm not that smart.

The only spinning gear I have is a ML drop shot rig, so I purchased a Cashion ICON FFS MF spinning rod and a 2500 Daiwa Procyon AL LT reel. I also added some Giant TRD worms, 5" Damiki Armor Shad, and I bunch of jig heads because I go through them like crazy. And I added another free TW t-shirt and sticker to my collection because, hey, they're free.

I've got a big trip coming up in the next few weeks but I'm not sure if it's going to be Caddo/Lake Fork/Toledo Bend/Sam Rayburn or hitting a trail of Florida lakes. I'm playing it by ear. A lot will depend upon the weather forecast and if the Florida lakes are in decent shape (and ramps open) after the hurricanes.

I really wanted to add OH Ivie if I headed to Texas, but it's too far out of the way from the other lakes. Florida would be the easier trip because I could be fishing in 5 hours whereas it will take a full day of driving just to get to the first stop in Texas.
