Peacedivision Posted June 16, 2024 Posted June 16, 2024 ALF's in house monkey got me. They're running a number of unadvertised sales right now. 7 Quote
Super User MN Fisher Posted June 17, 2024 Super User Posted June 17, 2024 Omnia's line sale snagged me - going lighter on my finesse rigs, thereby the 8# 832...also decided to give this Sniper stuff a try given the sale price. 8 Quote

I love Sniper. Tho I've only used it on casting gear (not counting leader on spinning setups). I still use KVD line conditioner on it the majority of the time. Quote

Rockhopper Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 Mail call! Also just picked up this backpack from Cabela’s. Tons of space. I have 12 total 3600's that fit in it. 13 Quote

As a bank angler, that backpack makes me jealous. 😆 I've got a decent one myself, but that's got so much space. 1 Quote
Rockhopper Posted June 19, 2024 Posted June 19, 2024 That pack fully loaded is way way way too heavy for bank fishing. 😂 I actually have the small Cabela's sling pack for bank fishing. Use it once in awhile bass fishing, always in the kayak, and mostly for steelhead bank fishing when I am not in the drift boat. Comes with (and holds) two 3600's, and enough room for about 10 bags of plastics. Perfect for a few hours of fishing. Hard to beat for the price. 2 Quote

It holds almost all the tackle and baits I own. It's pretty heavy. I take it off when I get to a spot, fish, and then pick it up and move on. Although, when I wade the river, I wear it the whole time. 1 Quote

Super User AlabamaSpothunter Posted June 21, 2024 Super User Posted June 21, 2024 Bought a pack of Bellow's Gill 3.8 a month or two ago.......was very worried about their durability.......make a few casts, catch a small fish on one, and immediately the bait goes flying off with its first jump. So much to like about the bait, the SAF material, the design, but ultimately their is no way I'm fishing a bait that cost over $1 per bait, and lasts only one fish. Hopefully the Deps Bull Flat are more durable, gonna try those one of these days. Quote

I have a cheapo verison of this carhartt sling bag that I use walking the river. I love it because it forces me to bring only a few baits which is helpful for my back. 22 minutes ago, NorthernBasser said: I love the smell of the Bellows Gill. Very unique scent. Where did you get the Cue Bomb? TW says they wont have them until mid July. 2 Quote
