I had a gift card from work and it was around $30 instead of $60 - $80. Basically I payed $5 out of pocket for it. It's an amazingly well made bait. 1 Quote

There was a brief moment that I came across stock of them on minor sale - my wallet jumped out of my hands and emptied itself. The action is great slow, fast, 180s, cool little fish Quote
Super User ATA Posted February 16, 2024 Super User Posted February 16, 2024 I got a Shimano nasty reel for UL fishing and I couldn't find right rod and after looking around I found out the nasci rods not sold in US and only in Europe they have them, So I ordered one from Italy and today I got it and paired with the reel. It is one of my coolest combo. I have short video on it on YouTube if you want to see it better. here s the clip: Sorry for horrible clip, I wanted to get done with it and get to grade spool it and gear up for 5 days fishing trip to big bear lake for trout/crappie and bass fishing. 9 Quote

Almost banjo minnow infomercial level of out fishing live bait. 1 Quote
JediAmoeba Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 These two BGC gliders were painted by a local guy in our club. I can't say enough, how amazing these are 14 Quote
RipzLipz Posted February 20, 2024 Posted February 20, 2024 More stuff my "financial advisor" said I needed. Those Keitech Clear Lake Hitch colors look good. 15 Quote
RipzLipz Posted February 21, 2024 Posted February 21, 2024 Late delivery. Sweet Fish on left & Silver Powdered Shad/Baitfish on right. Last photo above, Flashing Wagasaki on top, Dark Thunder Clear Bait on bottom. Flashing Wagasaki has a stronger pink to it than closeup shows. Sweet Fish on top, Powdered Shad/Baitfish on bottom. Sweet Fish looks more natural & closer to what I’d expect locally. The Powdered Baitfish is flashier. Powdered Ayu looked to be a good one as well but unavailable at the moment. The Ayu was similar to Powdered Baitfish but a bit darker with greens (to me) & a visible yellow dot just behind gill plate area. 12 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted February 21, 2024 Super User Posted February 21, 2024 Got my copperstate order today. Really looking forward to trying the smaller provokes. I have been hoping they would come out with these for a while now. The treble heads hopefully will keep me from needing to make my own line through baits with stir straws and weights. 9 Quote

I think these are gonna be killer. 1 Quote
Super User NorcalBassin Posted February 21, 2024 Super User Posted February 21, 2024 Couldn't pass up the exchange rate for a 24 Certate. Probably 90% of my setups are Shimano, but I've really enjoyed the Ballistic MQ and figured I had to give the Certate a shot after reading so many great reviews. I'll be putting it on a legend elite 76MF for tubes and all around finesse. 13 Quote
Super User Cgolf Posted February 21, 2024 Super User Posted February 21, 2024 So this morning I needed to pick up some stuff and I wandered over to the fishing aisle and picked up some swimbait hooks for 1$ a pack, the Pop-R for 2$, the trap for 2$, and the Jerks for 2.50$. Kind of funny the Ozark trail was the most expensive, but I really hope they don't discontinue it, because it has a really nice slow rise and the stock hooks were sticky enough for my fishing needs. I also left a lot of stuff there. Googan bandito bugs were 1.50$, shad raps were 2$, Rap minnows were 2$-3.50$, etc. Lots of great deals, but I bought what I needed and left a bunch for others to take advantage of. 11 Quote

I had just talked myself out of going by walmart today to check the inventory, and then I see your post. The bait monkey thanks you for your contributions. 1 Quote

FishTax Posted February 22, 2024 Posted February 22, 2024 My 3 orders thus far this week. All essential... Stocking up for me and my kid. Throwing beetle spins on UL should be fun if we can get some bites. And a new rod and reel for me from the clearance department. I'm going back to Academy soon as they have an extra 50% off marked clearance prices going right now, too good to be true 6 Quote

I used the 'grab and shake' method of freeing baits. I've gone to thin 3700's now, and like them. Plano was happy....I bet I've spent $500 on 3701's. 4 Quote
