So since I’m on this self imposed “no actual bait buying in 2024” ban, the thought occurred to me that a subscription box wouldn’t technically violate that rule since I don’t know what’s in it, right?  Been digging 6th sense lately and want to give their bag a try.

This definitely does NOT violate the ban. You're buying a sack. What 6th Sense decides to put in it is up to them.

Pretty excited to try this one out.

I've had this in my cart for a while at Ali Express. Where'd you get it? If I get one I may replace the knobs, though.

$120 on Ali Express. Took 8 days to get it. The knobs feel like the SLW works ones.

It comes with a drag clicker like the Zillions.

Went to get two packs of the Kietech jigheads, the monkey rammed everything else in lol.   The Flashboost popper isn't my favorite color but for $5 I'm not saying no.   Same deal on that Sunline FC....not my preferred Sunline FC, but at $3.99 per 110yds, might as well lol.

@ol'crickety  might as well spend some of your money as well 😂  Those Midst heads are what I wanted in the beginning based on what the actual Japanese guys use (they been mid strolling for several years before us) and recommend for the technique.     Their reasoning is the line tie orientation on the Midst head.

These are the three heads I intend to play around with:

1. Keitech Super Round Tungsten Jighead 1/8th 2/0    *** Proven winner in my book

2. Owner Range Roller 1/8th 3/0 for the Drift Fry Mellow 5.2 or similar 5" minnows   ***looks amazing, better than the Kietech, no fish catches though.

3. Deps Midst 1/8th 2/0   *** Haven't tried them yet.

The Midst is on the left, and Keitech on the right in the pic.

ETA:  I just put together what MIDST means lol, Mid Strolling.   Not the sharpest knife in the drawer

Alex, I placed an order with TW today (mostly jigheads and soft plastics from that Tactical Bassin' video), another order arrived this morning, and I placed two orders last week. For the love of my purse, I can't place another!

6th sense cranks are good enough for my waters that they get the benefit of the doubt on new releases.

They just release a 'pressure' series - flatsides from 4FOW to 16FOW.  Got a box full of them, and some of the 97x provokes in regular, DD, and silent.

I really like those Midst jigheads - I’ve found the weed guard to be surprisingly weedless as it is stiffer than most. You’ll be hammering them with it and those 4” Flash J’s!

Right on.  Reminds me of the Wave Worms Tiki Bamboo stick from years ago.

I got a pile of tiki's from a friend years ago who had to to quit fishing for health issues and I've only used a couple of them, they ain't got that booty shake on the drop that the senkos have, none at all actually, they just glide, no wiggle, at least the few I tried were like that.

Putzing around on Omnia the other night looking up different brands I've never heard of. Came across these squarebills and medium-diving cranks from a company called Bay Rat Lures. Made in the USA, hand-painted. Eyes are 3D, not painted. Reg. $11.50, marked way down to $2.99.

I couldn't find much info on them on the web. Some deep digging I found a few reviews that had good things to say about them, so I figured for that price, why not?

The squarebills are silent and the divers have a small rattle.

My name is Kevin Smira. It pains me to say that I was only able to stay clean and sober (not buying any actual baits) for 25 days. Went down to smith lake (north Alabama) this am and had to stop in a local tackle shop to ask what’s selling and what’s biting. As many of you know, I didn’t have ANYTHING he said to use. So, I was FORCED to buy some. Grabbed a few crankbaits (KVD, SPRO, 6th Sense), a MB dynablade, some hover jig heads and gambler small presentation (can’t remember what they are), some more chatterspikes and some more spunk shad.

I have some reading up to do on the hover rig, as I’ve never fished it. But the guy said he keeps selling out of 3/0 1/8oz heads. So, I got some and now have to figure that part out.

and, I think since I wasn’t able to stay sober, I guess I’ll HAVE to spend a few gift cards I have to TW?

25 days ain't nothing to sneeze at. Hold your head high, young man!

Cool. I put more in my cart this morning but figured I'd give it until tonight or tomorrow before I placed the order. Wanted to give you guys here a chance. Did you take the last 2 Bluegill MD? And a Real Craw squarebill? It's showing those out of stock now when I looked in my cart. 😄

@NorthernBasser You gonna be alright without those 5 cranks? 🤣

@Smirak You might want to look up this guy & see if you’re both hittin the same bait shop (click either the top title or small arrow in upper right corner of box - just 1 page back) 😂
