You can definitely find great deals on Amazon. Just gotta keep an eye out and watch for fluctuating prices. I got my Coastal off there earlier this year for $173.

OMG!

...and Counterfeit products.

https://www.fool.com/the-ascent/personal-finance/articles/some-shoppers-are-fleeing-amazon-because-of-counterfeit-goods/

Amazon announced last spring it removed over 6 million counterfeit products.  6 million?!  And that's what they knew about!  How many more are still on Amazon?

Be careful guys.

Regarding Amazon, just don’t buy from marketplace sellers. Pretty simple.

This is my Megabass Christmas haul this year. I am still waiting on one lure to come in, backordered. My wife and kids helped out but this was mostly me and my gift cards.  The sad thing is, this is one box out of four (maybe five).  Everything else is non Megabass but I will post pics as I put this stuff away.

The sales got me this year.

Few new rods. Daiwa Tatula Elite (2023 model, non AGS). 7'4 MH/Mod. Wanted another crankbait rod (and maybe bladed jig in open water). I plan on mostly throwing lighter cranks/flatsides on this. These new Tat Elites just feel so nice. I bought the 7' ML/Mod. casting rod earlier this year and just love it. It's a fun little rod for throwing squarebills and lighter lipless. They have really improved these from the previous version. Lighter, better-looking (IMO) and the new reel seat is extremely comfortable. The rod weighs only 4.32 oz, which is great for a rod that size. I'll likely pair it with Tatula SV TW that I already have.

The Dobyns is the 744 "Jig Rod Special". I didn't need another jig rod, but figured I'd give this a shot. Definitely feels more like an open water/rocks jig fishing rod than flipping/grass. Not sure what reel I'll stick on here yet. Right now I slapped the Tatula Coastal on it just because it looks so purdy. But I make pair it with a Curado 150 MGL.

I have the Randy Howell full grip version of the TE rod and I love it!  I bought a second one when TTT was originally shutting down as a backup.  Such a versatile rod!  Big spinnerbaits, chatters, big cranks, and EXCELLENT with a Whopper Plopper 110.  Nice additions you have there.  Happy New Year and best wishes on the water!

This almost all of it for this year. I have few things I have been waiting on and a box of boring terminal tackle (hooks, weights, etc.).

This is generally what I go through in about 3 months of fishing. Not pictured are a few packs of Zoom Lizards.

I had a tuff year of fishing a spinnerbait so I wanted try some new ones and refresh a few that got beat up. The D-zone is one I have been anxious to try. I have a few of the Crush City baits. I haven't caught anything on them yet but they look well made. Maybe it's the smell. Also, there is jig in there from Deps called the Flatback. It's a 1oz punching jig that you can swim. Sounds weird but it works.

That’s a nice setup, I have been eyeballing those reels pretty hard lol. I had a concept c2 left hand that I gave to someone at my job who needed a decent bait caster. I have been thinking about a a2 just never committed lol.

I won't be putting the Concept A2 on that rod. Most likely it'll be a Curado 150 MGL.

The Concept A2 feels nice in hand tho. For being 7.4 oz and with it's line capacity, I figured it may have a larger frame than it does. But it's a fairly small frame.

Yeah the 150 MGL is my main reel on my conquest 844, just reliable and very versatile with its lure weight range. Can not go wrong with the 150 MGL. I will say one of the oddball reels that I have is one of the new abu revo stx, very temperamental but that reel will flat out sling the bait’s out there once you get it dialed in.

Nice.  I'll pick up an A2 sooner or later.  My Concept A from 2014 is still very smooth and I feel the Concept series palms better than any of my other reels.

@NorthernBasser @KP Duty Probably wise to get them sooner rather than later, before Rapala has a chance to mess them up. 😆

The 3.6 Crazy Flapper is a cool little trailer on the Mini Max.

Well the Monkey works in mysterious ways, 60 years of paying him he has graciously paid me back.
Actually not exactly as he's channeled through Glenn and BR to send me these!

Many thanks to Glenn and the whole BR team.
