Well two weekends with hotel stays, but thankfully a fleet farm stop each trip.

The shallow flicker Shad’s should be good for bass this fall. The big bite trailers hopefully will finally get me some bladed jig bites. The tiny trebles are for the tiny crème craws, the smallies are hard on the little hooks

The Largo Shad’s look great, but I need advice on how to rig them.

I got some!!!  my Unicorn Bait.  the Zoom Z-Drop worm in Morning Dawn.  lets just call it pink or purple, okay?

I have HIGH-HOPES for this bait.  the worm undulates better on a drop shot than any worm in my opinion (I weedless Tex-Rig them always).  and they all seem to be tired of Green Pumpkin and the purples are picking up steam in my area.  we shall see.  headed to the CA Delta Saturday, not my drop shot hot spot, but I will bring some.

The largo Shads are legit. This is what I rig mine on.

I told myself I won't be buying another rod this year but the local bait shop is going out of business and they had the St. Croix Mojobass on sale for $110.  Now I need to get a new reel to pair with the new rod. :monkey:

Looking forward to the 3.5" Largo Shad coming out, the 4" is huge compared to the 3". The 3" pairs nicely with an Owner 3/0 Flashy Swimmer or 1/8oz Guppy heads with the smaller hook. Tried em on the Okashira Screwhead, no results.

I picked up a 6' 8" MF Daiwa Tatula Spinning rod to replace a snapped Zodias. Really enjoyed the shorter rod handle from the kayak, but miss the casting distance. I heard rave reviews about silent jerkbaits, picked up a MAT SHAD Vision 110, should be a producer in clear and stained water. Grabbed a nice shad patterned (Kohoku Reaction) S-Crank 1.2 for rocking docks and some 3" Spark Shads because why not and mend-it does wonders to them.

On those Largo Shad's if you tear off that flange by the tail you'll get a wider kick/more thump. I'll usually do that in dirty water and/or during summer months. In spring I leave it as is. The 4" makes a nice swim jig trailer as well.

I bought one one in March. Paired it with a Shimano SLX bait casting reel.

A friend flew down today, and he brought my TW order with him.  The order started out much bigger and included a new reel, but I managed to shake the Monkey off my back and simply get what I had to have.  That is my story and I'm sticking to it.

We were walking around Dicks house of sport with the family, trying to keep my 6 year old niece entertained. They ended up buying me some birthday swag, I’m counting the hat as “fishing tackle”F0-AB2-CCB-9905-4-FE0-AFC1-2-C8-C5794-F976-A19-D8-D-8-AF4-4443-968-A-9-C73-A6811

First order from TackleWarehouse last night, and it shows that being a site sponsor of a forum certainly increases sales.....having just gotten back into fishing, I had no clue who the go to place was for tackle.

Already impressed, free shipping on orders over 50 is big in my book, and it shipped out today.  Seem like they have great prices.  They have just about everything I've looked up over the last month....but they finally had something I couldn't buy local....those magic shad.     I sure hope I find a good vibrating head that matches the two I lost that were bought when Aaron Martens was still alive and making them.  They had like a dozen models, and all but a very few had very poor reviews.       I wanted one with a better keeper, but these at least had good reviews.

Those 7" Robos are going to be killer at night, I was stoked to see the black grape offering.   That Z_man chatterbait has been killing it for me at night, so I figured I'd get a back up.   I used refrain, as I need several new rod and reel setups.

Do they have a code for forum members?

Congrats on what might be your first but perhaps not your last TW Order.

btw - That Tremor head has been very good for me.

3/8 & 1/2 oz and ALWAYS prefer the long bill.

Finally dove into my sale order...it's been sitting a week.  Instead of laying it all out, I decided to just show the baits that were new to me and am most anxious to try.

Abu Fantasistas- 7'6"M spin and 7'6"MH casting

Here are some new baits.  I picked up numerous big blade chatters and chatter cfl's.  I thought the foiled bagley was nice, along with some 'old school balsa' cranks.  FMTC wide load crasher craws, and the impressive looking culprit incredi-craws.  That's the 9.8" flick shake in there, and a chopper buzzbait deal.  Also picked up some sledgehammer swim jigs and that is a reaction strike 'slim shad' paddletail.

It was a limited run of 1500 straight from Reaction Innovations the other day. Sold out same day. My buddy’s order got refunded. They got more orders than they could fill.

I got my four thankfully.  I was tipped off early by my buddy and he ordered his limit of four too.  They sold out quick!  Glad you got one!

Is that Skeet Reese rod as good as everyone says? How does it compare to newer stuff like a St Croix Legend glass or your KVD composites?

Interesting how the monkey makes me wonder about those kind of comparisons...

@Crankin4Bass Good Question ~

And one I sort of anticipated.

Watch the attached video.

May answer some of your questions.

Got my new Fogy Package kit from Siebert Outdoors yesterday. Tried ‘‘em out today and they start vibrating immediately upon retrieve. Paired them up with some trailers for that little extra enticement and caught a decent 3 +/- pounder. And of course I left my phone in the house so no photo. ?
