Mine is on the way. I got to try one out today and couldn't resist. It might be the best Daiwa reel I have picked up and that includes a couple of Steez's. 2 Quote

I can't explain it but the Zillion seems to have that "It" factor. I know that I just played with it for a few minutes but I plan to put it through it's paces when it gets here from Japan. I also can't explain why I might like it better than the two Steez's I have. I plan on putting it with a Megabass Evoluzion Super Diablo. We will see. Quote

I have been in the process of upgrading my gear since around mid last year and I have been thinking of a light casting rig like a NRX 852C/842C with a Steez CT on it. Quote

It's smoother than the SV and it's fun to fish. I have it paired with a NRX 802C with Sunline Shooter Finesse Special 8lb. I use it for just about anything down to a 1/16 jig head with a 4.5in Roboworm and up to 3/8 oz 5in senko. It is also great for Easy Shiners. I like to think of it as an almost BFS reel. I believe with the proper rod it could handle even lighter baits. 1 Quote

Jmurphy87 Posted May 22, 2022 Posted May 22, 2022 Well we got some hair jigs, 1/32-1/8 oz mister twister 3” 4” grubs 2 packs chasebaits curly baits 4” 1 pack baby bass Yamamoto 5” grubs 1 pack black 5” senkos 1 pack air tail wigglers 6” watermelon red 4 road runners in 1/4 I like to try random things here and there, I don’t like to relying on the same techniques over and over. I want to be able to have a nice diverse skill set of different presentations, versus being a master of one. Although being really good at one thing can be a great thing too. 7 Quote

It is all sorts of colors though.... clear, pink, yellow, gray, pink, green, and orange. I will use it a few times and report back. 1 Quote

You can easily see it, any movement of the line is really noticeable, casts well and its tough as nails. I might actually like it better than Tatsu. Quote

Digitaka has 300m spools of bms for a good price. It's a go next order. Quote
Mbirdsley Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Went hard in the paint on square bills this week. Ones still in the package just came in the mail. The ones out of the package came from shop n save up north. Shop n save is a grocery store that has a really nice home goods and sporting section. All are strike king 1.5’s and except the lone LC 1.5 also trying out some magnum moon juice rage bugs 11 Quote
Drawdown Posted May 27, 2022 Posted May 27, 2022 My 7’ ML/F Shimano Convergence and 2000-size BPS Carbonlite 2.0 came in, along with a number of terminal tackle items and soft lures. 9 Quote
