The last of my orders is slowly coming in for the season until I’m all stocked up! Very excited. The wife called in an order for me to get her those two swim baits at the top. I’m not gonna lie they do look impressive and videos online show them hovering nose down. The brand is 10,000 Fish. Also picked up a couple of G-Money football jigs in white/purple and some baby craws.

I’ve been trying a variety of weight fluke rigs…so trying some new variants there. I’m also trying some new Chatterbait trailers…bought the KaikaZee from big bites on a variety of colors.

Separate trip, but Academy has “got deals” on the most random items. Literally 50% or more off…bought some Keitechs for $3.50 a pack because it’s an unbeatable deal. I

The last of my @Siebert Outdoors order came yesterday! Can’t wait to trailer up these bad boys and wet them! Got the Fogy pack kit in 3/8 and in 1/2oz. This literally winds up my buying for the season and even the bait monkey gave me his approval. Well my wife trumps the bait monkey and he just doesn’t like it is all lol

And the last one before the season starts. I found out I didn't have enough 30lb braid to spool up one of the Curado Ks, ordered some. But when I started to browse the online shop I saw they still had these in stock. I haven't fished or even seen Trigger X stuff for sale in years, and I'm pretty sure the DT Flat was discontinued a decade ago. Had to get some spadetail worms (loved these things back when I started fishing soft plastics) and a couple of DTFSS-9s.

A tackle store in southern Spain. They don’t have a lot of bass tackle but they used to have a decent stock of Rapala stuff.

I’ve been ordering stuff from their website for years

I had two orders finally come in and one from Omnia.  I have been hunting for this dumb Megabass hat for a while. The Big M should be fun and I finally found a place that has the Respect Series Onetens in stock.

At this point the bait monkey has established multiple residences in my brain.

Was running low on Super Flukes so bought 2 packs. I’ve been having issues with my Gamakatsu 3/0 EWG hooks so I decided to try the Owner Wide Gap Plus hooks and see how they work (anyone else use these? Let me know how they are)

Also picked up a R2S bubble popper. I like fishing poppers but a lot of them tend to be a little on the lighter side which can make throwing them on casting gear a bit of a nuisance for me. I got the 88 size and at 5/8 oz I think I’ll have no trouble slinging it.

I finally broke down and got a Spro Little John. I’ve heard nothing but great things so I’ll be interested to try it out.

Box finally came in today!!

Got a new rod for my curado bfs that I use 7lb braid on, since shimano says you can’t use mono line on the reel☹️. Sorry for the blurry picture on the rod, the rod is a abu garcia xenon 6’9 medium light fast action  rated 1/8 -5/8. I didn’t want to pay that much for a abu rod but out of what I could find locally it was the best one of the 3-4 choices I had. I took a hour checking the different rods out and it felt the best to me, did great today with 3.5 grams. Now to go lower and see how it goes. Also I got a few packs of worms, a few jigs, skirts, small plastic swim baits, 1/16 oz jig heads.

I went to visit family in the states and was able to make a Tackle Warehouse order to bring back to Mexico.  I went to a couple stores while I was there, but they didn't have much tackle.  I was lucky the stocks were low, and the Monkey wasn't able to get me for any impulse purchases.

I really hope jackhammer’s are worth the money they are commanding. I actually want to try them out but the cost is what’s been holding me back.

Received two packages of goodies yesterday.  Up first is my Digitaka order;  2 Tatula 80's, 4 slp 'power round' cork knobs, and 7 Deps 'B Custom' bladed jigs.  Daiwa's new Hyperdrive gearing will widen your eyes when you turn the handle....reels feel crazy smooth.

Next is my Sierra Trading order.  I ordeted some sunglasses(Revos...not pictured), 8 bags of Jackal Yammyfish, 2 bags 6" 13 fishing bubble butt worms, 2 KVD sexy frogs, and 4 Daiwa TD Minnows.

I believe you'll love it! I honestly think that is one of the absolute best reels out there. I have two 20 Metaniums also. It is hard to tell the difference between the two performance wise.

Thank you, Yeah I have 3 20 metaniums also, I just really wanted to try the new bantam. Next reel on my radar is the new alderbaren bfs. I just don’t know exactly what place to order it from yet.

@NavyVet1204, these were sold pre-classic by Reaction Innovations.

If you go to Tackle Trap, they have them for sale.

Picked up a Wilderness Systems HD Kayak cart for self deploying my Recon 120 HD, added a YakAttack Zooka 2 rod holder, Multi-Mount cup holder and Rotogrip paddle holder for a net. Grabbed a 3/8oz black Booyah Buzzbait too.

Looking for an underseat storage solution that's not $100+ and a BlackPak Pro 16x16.

Nah. Bladed jigs work almost year round.

They're definitely worth it, especially at sale price. Omnia just had them for $11-$12 I believe.

Used the Owner Wide Gap Plus hooks today and they are incredible for weightless plastics. Super easy to set the hook.

A while back I tried the Shimano Sienna FG in the 2000 size based on a field and stream review and really liked it. Well last week I started looking online for them and they are really hard to find, discontinued?

Found them on Scheels and placed an order Monday night at 9 pm and they were on my doorstep today. Looking forward to pairing them with my Dobyns Sierras. Hoping the lighter reels will balance better than the heavier reels Regals and Presidents.
