I know these aren’t the best photos but I wanted to upgrade a couple reels this year. I got a couple new rods also but still trying to get pictures together for them. The jackhammer was a gift for buying from Japan Lure Shop, thanks again for the heads up @Bassjam2000

Received a couple of small orders I made last week

rsz_img_5687.thumb.jpg.8c8cbf5e153fab891295b0808ea6359b.jpg

A couple of S-Waver 120s (Terminator, Party Crasher), 3 regular Onetens (Clear Laker, FA Gill, Spawn Killer), 1 Oneten R+1 (Clear Laker), and a Shadow Rap. And more Bass Patrol jigs because why not ?

These are my first Onetens, and my first S-Wavers for that matter. Can't wait to try this stuff out.

That poor Rapala must feel like a guy with a beer at a wine tasting party.  He was just hanging out at the store with the rest of the low rent jerkbaitsl, when he was yanked off the wall and stuck in a box with the uppity higher class.  Hope he can hold his head up high and catch a PB.

I'll be that guy. Can't stand the taste of wine ?.

Wine tasting? How about a trip to a local brewery?

Hey, if I'm fishing during a hot summer afternoon I'm not reaching for a cold glass of Cabernet Sauvignon. Trust me, the Shadow Rap will get as much love as its Japanese friends

Bombers....only thing I couldn't live without from the spring classic sale.

Deep flat A's (right)  4A's (left).  I ordered 2 of each color, but they were running short on a couple apparently....made my OCD act up!

I live in Canada so I do one TackleWarehouse order every spring and this year's just arrived!

Ontop of the tackle order I just got myself a new Expride B and a Tatula Elite. That's my new frog rod / big jig

Therefore in this treasure chest I have a variety of frogs, Bobby's perfect, scum, pad perch and on. A few zman custom chatterbaits, googan mondo worms, banditio bugs, rage bugs in all sizes, dirty jigs flipping/pitching jigs, hack attack jigs, outcast tackle swim jig ( boy oh boy do these look like the juice) terminal tackle, and one thing I'm very excited to try is the sunline plasma braid.

My local shop just closed up last month as well. They were the only brick and mortar around that carried Reaction Innovations plastics within a 30 mile drive. I don’t know what happened because every time I went in that store year around it was pretty steady business with me having to wait at least 15 minutes to be checked out.

Well it finally happened.  For a long time, I told myself I didn't need to go this high end (I still don't) but with the exchange rate being favorable I thought I deserved a gift to myself for starting a new job. Unfortunately for my wallet, this won't be the last..

Got the first order from Tackle Supply Depot, all of this was $65 shipped. Although Im grateful for the good deals I hate to see any American business have to close its doors.

I just placed my order just now. I got 17 bags of soft plastics coming mostly Berkley worms because there wasn’t much left of anything soft plastic related.

Bitsy bugs/flips are some of the baddest jigs out there. Only thing I don't like about em is the keeper.

When I was curious about learning to fish jigs years ago, I went to DSG and found those little bitsy bugs. Watched a youtube video on them in the store and saw that putting a baby rage craw on them was a pretty popular deal. Still one of the best combos out there in my opinion. I lost a really nice fish one day because I didn't really even know how to set drag on a fishing reel and I thought 8lb fishing line meant that I was good for fish up to 8lbs ?

So many good memories about learning to fish. I feel old

Sorry if I posted the reel photos earlier in this thread, this is my Christmas/Birthday haul. My family treats me very well for both and I’m always on the lookout for good/great deals such as the favorite Soleus for $50.00 a deal I can’t pass up. I also want to to thank @FrnkNsteen for making me a deal I couldn’t refuse on the bps crankin stick’s. I was kicking myself in the ass for not grabbing a 7’-0” medium when I had the chance at bps so again huge thank you, p.s. my first bass of the year came on that rod? I’m still contemplating 1 more reel to replace a lower end reel but I feel I’ve given the “bait monkey” enough to enjoy for awhile. Lastly I’m a sucker for a color match and the monofilament matches perfectly with the panfish elite rod ?

Cue the Empire Strikes Back music. I have crossed over to the dark side.

The majority of my Baitcasters are Lew’s, Abu Garcia, Kastking and a Daiwa. They are the brands I bought when I started to really get into baitcasters. Before that I used  spinning reels mostly Shimano, Abu Garcia and Mitchell.

I watch a lot of YouTube videos and I can tell you I wanted a DC reel just for the sound. I also needed a fast reel to replace the Kastking Speed Demon in my arsenal. I figured the Shimano SLX DC 150XG fits both of those categories.

Mother Nature played a cruel joke making it rain for 2 straight days after I got this. I was able to go out last night and jig a spoon for some Brook Trout.

This reel really is on another level. The DC aspect alone made for effortless casting. I had one over run when the Sun blinded me and I didn’t see when my lure hit the water. Nothing major I got it out. I started on setting 4 but quickly went down to 2 which is the setting for mono that I was using. It casts as far as my farthest casting reels from Lew’s and Abu. I am really going to put this reel to good use this season.

My bait monkey good to me. I went to an estate sale and bought 2 floating jerk baits, cost $2.00 each.

Then bought this rubber gasket sealed plastic container to keep my Berkley gulp minnows in for $1.00.

Few more shad raps because I've been abusing them. The trout rather like them. And two colors of yo zuri's one knocker lipless to add to the collection since I liked the red one I already have so much. Second and third photo's are the green silver color from the bottom and top and the fourth and fifth photos are the ghost bluegill color bottom and top. About what they looked like on tackle warehouse but I really like the look of that ghost bluegill color. And Yo Zuri must have heard complaints about small hooks they use to use on these baits because these crankbaits came with some beefy hooks! I don't think I'll even change them. Nice.

Took my 3-year old son to Cabela’s in Acworth today. He picked out a couple of these. No way they won’t land my PB. ?
