Chonch12 Posted March 3, 2021 Posted March 3, 2021 Few to start my crank collection. Thanks for advice everyone. Luckily found a lightly used lot thats still in transit to match up with these guys. Come on warmer weather 8 Quote
Gigachad Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Cleared Karl’s out of the S-waver 120s in Lite Trout. Got the big 360GT for pike. The Spinnerbait and Z-man Willowvibe looked interesting so I picked them up with the store credit from the 2 S-wavers. Also got my first good baitcast setup. Tatula 100 HL (6.3:1) and the 6’10” MHF Tatula rod . Walmart price corrected the reel to twice so I paid $90 instead of $145. Got the rod for $130 at Walmart. Shipped in a corrugated triangular mailing box that had the tip end blown out but it somehow survived without any damage. Can’t wait to get some 40lb 832 on so I can practice. 5 Quote

Super User MN Fisher Posted March 4, 2021 Super User Posted March 4, 2021 Okay - absolutely the last purchase this season (unless I can sell some stuff) As it's a MF action rod, it's for light cranks and jerks...but it'll also be another finesse rod. Putting an Avocet RZT-2000 on this with 8# InvizX. 6 1 Quote

The Archelon has a tiny hole on the bottom side that you can slide the rattle into. The body actually has a cavity where it sits perfectly (you may already know this). It's also a tight fit so the rattle won't fall out. Insert it in the hole and then work it up towards the head of the bait with your fingers. And then insert the hook. Easily one of my top flipping/pitching baits. In super clear water I don't use the rattles, tho. https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/McCoy_Worm_Rattles_10pk/descpage-MCWR.html https://www.tacklewarehouse.com/catpage-TTBRT.html?from=basres 1 Quote
