I am desperately trying to upsize my catches...and I do fish other waters but 99% of the bass I catch are less than 2 pounds.  My PB last year was 8 lbs.  This year we are sitting at 6 lbs.  The thing is I only caught 4 fish last year over 3 lbs.  This year only 2 so far.

I must be the last of the true 1 pound and under bass masters!

I’ll be interested to see how you like the new lexa wn. I had one of the older blue ones and it felt like a can opener after a couple months.

I have a blue handled WN and it has performed flawlessly in the fresh and the salt.  I wonder if you got a bad reel.

Yeah, I have 2 of the blue handled winn models and they are fantastic.  Overall I have 5 Lexas and they are used pretty often...  I can't wait to grab a Tatula 300 though, those look awesome.

I have had a lot of my musky friends have the same experience as I have with the blue handled models. Burning Double 10 buck tails and ripping pounders/ monster dusa’s put a whole lot more stress on a reel than swimbaits do. It’s weird that those reels are known in the musky world to be notoriously flakey, mine got really grindy around the 3 month mark. I’m going to try the new one since I’ve got a pounder rod without a tranx on it.

Yeah, I have read the same things.  For all my musky duties and Large swimbait duties I have the Lexa HD's.  A 400 and 300.  I mostly use my winn Lexas for smaller swimbaiting and smaller bucktails and stuff.

6 more AC Shiners ordered tonight. That's 18 ordered in last couple weeks, might just call ol A C up and tell him send me a couple of everything.

I ordered 4 double prop 2" 1/4oz models. Should be great for the "fun" size bass I catch. Ordered a 250 in black n blue and a 450 in Sunfish to add to the heap.

I ordered up three packs of mondo worms from googan squad today because I have been itching to try a 10” worm on Texas rig! My local places never have them in stock and bass pro local to me never has them in watermelon red or June bug. Bad thing is I got an email from the confirming the order and it said to allow 10 business days to ship....:(

So what kind of interest rate did you and @Benchmark get for your bank loans for all of that.

I reckon so and to be honest I thought the brand was just hyped up because of Covid in the beginning, but I am a believer.

You were blessed with a wonderful family, still can't get over your canoe getting axed. Enjoy and share the lures with your kids.

Well, today was the day I took the plunge and decided to upgrade from my Lews American Hero combo's, picked up a St. Croix Mojo Bass 7'1" MHF casting rod and 7'1" MF spinning rod, a Shimano Curado DC and the Stradic FL in the 2500 size to go with them, I actually preferred the FL to the Ci4+ on the St. Croix rod, it balances just a bit better in my hands and just felt "right" for me, decided to give some hi vis spider wire stealth a try, 30lb and 15lb, we'll see how I like these over the next couple of weeks before I finish upgrading in this direction, but so far I think this combo is a winner

Awesome find at my local OLLIES they had two of my favorite cranks on sale for a ham sandwich.  Have another bag of them in the truck, full in lucky craft cb.

F&S is running a nice sale on Simms UPF 50 fishing gloves. Had to have 'em. I'm liking the extra material on the inside for the index and middle fingers. Should've gone in with exact change, but nope. Got a few goodies for my monkey.
