I just picked up these 7 Lucky Craft Staysee 90sp's off eBay for $37 shipped.

You got a great deal on a really effective lure.  Don't just do the twitch - twitch - twitch - pause thing.  They work on a straight retrieve, occasionally bumping bottom.

NOS (New Old Stock) Just picked these up, dealer box included. The Risto Rap is one of my favorite balsa cranks and I'll always have one in my box. It has landed me many bass over the years and I call it my Shad Rap on steroids.

That thing is sweet. Don’t forget to take the things of the hook lol. I was swearing up and down after the third missed fish on a new spinnerbait once. Talk about feeling dumb.

Successfully convinced my wife to tolerate a detour to the St. Croix Factory in Park Falls, WI while road-tripping back to Michigan from Minnesota.  Got to check out some models in person I haven't seen in stores, browse the "B-stock" rods (former displays, trade-ins, minor blems, etc.), and watch the work going on in the factory for a bit.

Picked up a b-stock Mojo 6'8" M-XF, casting for $40 below the new price....in pristine condition as far as I can tell, aside from an unobtrusive "Handcrafted for...." inscription above the Mojo Bass logo.  Also grabbed a hat and a used travel case. They let me take the travel case for free, and even threw in a free Daiwa spinning reel on a promotion (had the option of getting $30 off a baitcaster, but I already had a mate for the new rod waiting at home).

Great place to stop!

I just had a birthday (40) and I got a 100 dollar gift card to spend on tackle...so I got exactly what I don't need, 200 dollars in swimbaits.  Bought a Gigantarel and ordered 2 slammers.  I don't catch much on big swimbaits but for some reason I enjoy throwing them...

Having a buddy that works in a tackle shop doesn’t help me at all. I didn’t even need a reel. Now I guess I better get a rod as well.....it’s neverending.

Lessee...bought some power bait dough, salmon eggs, split shot, and #8 bait holder hooks for trout...then because I have all the fly fishing stuff I picked up for my hopeful trip with a guide, then just because I have absolutely no control at all I bought a 2 packs of 7" curly tail worms, green pumpkin/black and blue, wanted 10" or 12" but this Cabelas didn't carry any, and I picked up a big Heddon Spook in bone color, 2 project z weedless chatterbaits...and I think it's going to absolutely pour here this weekend and I might not get a chance to fish...grrrr.

Picked up one of those Cabela's Advanced Angler 2 backpacks and a couple of extra 3600 boxes, this thing is working out great, it carries 5 3600 footprint boxes, tons of soft plastics, raincoat, and a good bit of other stuff, I have found 5 3600's works just about bang on for me, terminal box, top water box, bottom box, middle water box, and a box for panfish/trout/other species.

It's happening: age 67 comes along and I find myself narrowing down how I fish. So, I am selling all but one existing kayak, might get a light paddler but going out "finesse" more and more. Finesse presentations over power, too. One rod carried out versus multiple rods. Still . . . that monkey!!!

I suppose over the past year and more, I have used a particular approach in gear/presentation/plastics and it has worked in all seasons. I caught two 25" bass, 50 yds. apart, 30 minutes apart the other afternoon, realized I had used my last preferred plastic bait. Order time!

The Bait Monkey Victim Support Group will be able to tell exactly what I'm up to. Disregard the Beast hooks, a novelty I might give a try. Small hooks, fluoro leaders, Keitech 4" baits, one in particular.  Brad

Used a BPS gift card towards an AFTCO hooded sun shirt. Added a Bass Mafia Money Bag to get free shipping. I figure I will use it to store plastics under the seat on my kayak to keep them handy.

RT Spawn Gill

The Trio is RT Ghost Gill, RT Bluegill, & RT Spawn Gill. If you want to add in Gizzard Shad then you mean

"The Quadro" !

Picked this guy up for under $20. Works nice as a wake on a slow retrieve or a crank down if I move it a little faster.

I'm loving these swimbaits, but I have no luck with them be it a paddle tail, jointed soft plastic like a Savage Gear, or the hard plastic like what Bluebasser is throwing. I have some luck with a swim jig though.

Nothing special, stocked back up on VMC neko hooks, nail weights and got some Daiwa Fat Neko worms and Yum Genies to try out.

If you like big, fat straight tail worms but don't like the price that everyone ask for them, YUM is here to help!

I love their color selection, and $3 for a 7 pack of 8" fat straight tail worms, can't beat that!

Really excited that they're offering other baits in 30 packs now. Got 2 30 packs of Christie Craws in my TW order today, only $10 a pack too!

I'll have to take pictures of the rest of the order, mostly plastics. My orders aren't usually real exciting with my disdain for crankbaits and everything ?

How do you like those Yum Magnum Worms? Had my eye on them for a while but never used any. They look real good
