Dwbassin Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 I’m gonna have to, that’s all I wanted them for. I had to know they stopped and didn’t just drop to the bottom. They have some good colors too. I have problems sometimes fishing my jerk air from a kayak so these would be such a nice fit Quote

Super User PhishLI Posted March 8, 2019 Super User Posted March 8, 2019 BPS goodies. Some stuff still on backorder. All the tungsten I ordered was out of stock and cancelled by them though. Oh well. I go through tons of 6" GY Senkos. Maybe these Stick-Os will be up to snuff. They weigh 13 grams vs 15 grams for the GY. Pretty close. They seem to be as supple, and definitely not as stiff as the 6" Dingers.  3 Quote

CrankFate Posted March 9, 2019 Posted March 9, 2019 I always thought it was silly to buy 20 or 30 packs of whatever. But since I’ve been here on this site, I think maybe I am still buying a mini tackle store of stuff a few pieces at a time, if I post a pic after all my orders are finally delivered, that cute little monkey ? might look more like a gorilla ? especially if I add rods and reels and knives and sunblock and.......... 1 Quote

I posted the deal on the BR Sale thread. Everything on the site was 50% off! Paid $1.75 for swim jigs, $2.00 for the 3/4 oz flipping/casting jigs, and like $0.50 - $0.65 each for the swing heads.  38 minutes ago, jbsoonerfan said: You think you will throw a jig this year? I might, haha. Flippin the big jig is my jam man! 1 Quote

Super User PhishLI Posted March 10, 2019 Super User Posted March 10, 2019 We had a few nights in the teens last week, so lots of lakes were still skating rinks around here yesterday. Got an update that one close by was open, so I organized a wading session with some pals. 37 degree water doesn't hurt as bad after you've been shelved for a while! But first I needed some tungsten. On my way to the store I told myself " Phish, you're not buying anything except tungsten". As fate would have it those tricksters at Dix had put out a bin of Duel Hardcore baits at blowout prices! They must've spotted me waddling in from the parking lot wearing my "I'm only going to buy tungsten face" then made that sale pronto. Next thing you know...I was all in at that point so the DT6 and spinnerbait seemed perfectly reasonable. Yes? 4 Quote

I just hadn't put in the work with them that I should've. But my spidey sense tells me they'll be a hit soon! But spidey has been wrong in the past. Either way I'm gonna commit to them now. Quote

Global Moderator Bluebasser86 Posted March 11, 2019 Global Moderator Posted March 11, 2019 Didn't really need it, but couldn't pass up on a Okuma Helios 7' 6" H/F for $90. Going to have an Okuma Helios SX reel on it for jigs ? Going to be a sweet looking combo. 2 Quote

Super User A-Jay Posted March 12, 2019 Super User Posted March 12, 2019 Â Added a small assorment of the new Megabass silent Sonicside squarebill to the arsenal. Pic doesn't do them justice - very nice looking baits. Expecting big things from that Perch pattern. Also kicked it up a notch with a couple of 3/4 oz Jackhammers. Bait monkey gave me a thumbs-up.
