New Siebert jigs!

You're not going to catch a thing with those. Send them to me and I'll properly dispose of them for you.

This isn't a "new" lure exactly, an S-Waver 200.  The bait monkey convinced me to get it after having success with the 168 last summer.  Once the 200 came, I quickly realized I didn't have anywhere near the gear required to throw it.  So it sat in a box, unused.  I finally got a budget rod that can manage it and swore I wouldn't throw anything else until I caught a fish on the 200.

Did a few 15 minute sessions at lunch time on our 5 acre pond at work.  Finally hooked up today on this bass and one other one that I didn't get a chance to snap a picture of.

Always remarkable how savage bass can be.  This fish was probably only ~2.5lbs, and the other was even smaller!  They sure must have been hungry

1/8 oz spinner for some fall finesse, and a Whopper Plopper 90 because I watched this.

Two rod socks, which could only mean I'm waiting on two rods in the mail :)

Stopped at F&S this weekend on a whim.  Turns out they were having a 20% off everything in the store sale.  I had been eyeing this MB Levante Launcher rod for a while.  They had it on clearance, but not especially cheap (slightly cheaper than the regular TW price).  They had it discounted 30% in addition to the 20% off sale.  Ended up getting it for quite a deal, IMO.

It'll be my new cranking rod!  Can't wait to put it to work.  Its by far the longest rod I own!

Picked myself a Kistler  6’9” crank rip twitch today as I figured I needed a new rod jerkbaits and walking baits. Then through some more searching found a great deal on a Tatula sv to pair with it. Can’t wait to get these in the mail later this week.

What do you guys think I should spool up the reel with, braid or mono?

I hit up Cabela's Thursday night before heading to the cottage for some terminal tackle. I saw a video on another site where a SG 3" Craw was neko rigged and I had to give it a shot. So I picked up some 3/32oz neko nail weights, sz 1 neko hooks, 1/0 wacky hooks, (all VMC) as well as a pack of 3/8oz rugby heads. Grabbed some 7/0 Trokar weighted swimbait hooks for some 6" paddle tails and creatures both from Xzone. Scored a Lucky Craft FATCB "Big Daddy Strike", at a gas station on our way up to Parry Sound. Hefty price tag but I've heard good things about this bait. It was a rough weekend, not many bites as the conditions where all over the map. Surprisingly cold, water was down a foot, and an imminent storm was hanging over.

Haven't tried the Power Bomb yet, but the Super V-Flat goes through wood like a hot knife through butter.

Been pretty busy lately at work and haven't been able to do much fishing. However I have been feeding the bait monkey...lol. In the past couple weeks I bought a bag of Zoom sapphire blue Z Craws and 6" lizards, a bag of Gene Larews sapphire blue Wheeler's Hammers, a bag of BPS sapphire blue river bugs, swimming elite chunks and black sapphire chunks, a new, smaller tackle bag H2O Express to condense down what I beat the banks with, a pack of Z Man bad shad and the deal Razor Shadz, a Strike King neon bluegill and a natural shad 1.5 squarebill cranbaits (3' to 5' diving) and a blue craw Red Eye Shad and today I got my 1/2oz sapphire blue and junebug Jackhammer style chatterbaits I ordered from @Bluebasser86. Looking forward to trying all this out, especially the Jackhammer style chatterbaits. Very nice workmanship and quality. Thanks a million Clayton, I'm very appreciative for what you made for me. ?

Went to BPS to spend a $50 gift card I purchased for $40 and used a $10 off $30 or more coupon. I wound up spending $5 and some change out of my pocket.

Everything on the bottom row was on sale at least.

How are you painting the blades? I tried powder paint but it was a disaster with the amount of paint on them.

You'd have to ask @Bluebasser86 about that. He made them. Excellent job I might add too! ?

I'm sorry but that will never work. Obviously the reel is defective. If you could be kind enough to send me the reel I will gladly dispose of it for you ;)

Wow ~ Thank you so much for your most genuine concern and generous offer.

Think I'll hold on to it for now but if it all goes hay-wire, I'll be sure to get back with you straight away . . .

Those look stunning! I never considered buying a Powell, but now I have yet another contender on my big list of rods I want.
