Mostly morels, but wanted to try a couple of shot caller swim jigs to see how they compare to my current swim jig. They look very nice, expect I will be ordering more in the future once I deplete my stock some. How do you like the Siebert Morel heads? Have you had a chance to fish them? You see, I have some Ned rig tackle, but didn't give it the time I should have last season. So now I'm dedicated to giving it it's fair share this next year! The one thing I can't help but notice, even without catching any big smallies on them, is the Shroomz jigs are sooooo flimsy. I mean, fine wire and finesse is one thing, but it seems like they're just plain old cheap. I know Siebert quality is top notch so how do they seem to you? I've been keeping the Bait Monkey at bay better than ever this year too! So honestly, if those Morels are super awesome, I may have to add them to my current "on deck" order to Siebert asap! Quote

They look great and the hooks look solid, but won't get to fish them until the May opener. Might have an oppurtunity if it warms up enough early I may give them a toss before the season closes. Since my my replies will get merged anyways, Cabela's started 50 buck free shipping today, and I picked up a Pluegar President 7' Medium Fast combo for 50. Was surprised that the combo still was covered by free shipping. Also grabbed two bags of the Mister Twister helgrammites and the small Cabela's advanced angler bag for my shore fishing 1 Quote

You can download the Image Shrink Lite app from the Google Play Store and do it. That's the app I use. Quote
Scarborough817 Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 got myself a little something to help with my organization of tackle 3 Quote
evilcatfish Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 My new Tatula SV with RCS carbon handle and SLP knobs. I think the lime green looks pretty slick with the purple highlights on the reel. Now for tuning and new bearings, think I might try ZPIs this time 5 Quote

Super User Cgolf Posted January 10, 2018 Super User Posted January 10, 2018 Well that Pflueger President combo I ordered Monday from Cabela's was on my doorstep today with the standard shipping. The rod is a nice surprise, it has the feel that it will be nice for pitching plastics. 9 Quote

Plus I think it will look slick on that green Powell blank. If I don't like it, look for it in the flea market section ? I was wondering what you think about the k ? I guess you'll be selling all those other reels now that you see what Shimano has to offer. Quote
Dirtyeggroll Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Picked up a Cabela’s Tournament ZX Crankshaft 7’ 10” Heavy Fast as a rod to throw my new Norman DD22 HD’s. I might go exchange it for the 7’5” model so I can also throw medium divers. 4 Quote

It has its place though. It will be my swimbait reel. Maybe even C-rigs too. I don't see myself giving up my concepts anytime soon though. ? 1 Quote

mllrtm79 Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 I wasn't planning to purchase anything until Feb-March, but I got this for Christmas along with a 2nd KK Stealth (I will show off the combo once I get it set up) and then the $50 TW gift code (which only cost me $29 more on the order of mostly hooks and jigs) I took 6 reels up to the shop for winter cleaning/service so another $5 for a bag of "whack-em sticks" in smoke/black now this morning I see the Siebert jig of the month, so there's another 7 jigs coming. The monkey is strong this week... Now about the WP 110, sigh. Where is that DSG email? 2 Quote
