Thought you were a die hard fan of those reels that shall remain nameless.

I knew someone would bring that up, lol! I couldn't resist the hype. Plus I think it will look slick on that green Powell blank. If I don't like it, look for it in the flea market section ?

Like a lot of you I have hundreds of dollars in tackle that is still in it's original package, and I spend a lot of time in sporting goods stores looking for something else I don't have. I catch more Bass on Fat Head and Sucker minnows than anything else except maybe leeches! In Lake Minnetonka if you throw out a Fat Head on a hook with a bobber and don't get some action in about 30 seconds reel it in and cast again. If you don't have fish in the boat in about 15 minutes, its time to move to another spot.

The final 3 swimbaits to add to my collection this year. The Giron and 30 size rat were smaller than I expected, but still should catch a bunch of fish

My wife hooked it up for Christmas!  Only problem now is finding time to use it all with the baby!

I'd been wanting that spinnerbait special for a while now and the $100 off deal made it a no brainer to put on the wish list for the wife!

If your wife bought you all of that, then you are one lucky man.

she didn't just do it on a whim, she may have had a little assistance in the form of a list, but she hooked it up nonetheless!

I did however snag that Pflueger President myself...  with the 40% off one item at Dick's plus a $10 thing i had for there i got the reel for $41 shipped.  perfect match for the daiwa ardito travel rod i have and i love me some Pflueger spinning reels!

@AndrewJ I love the Cabin Creek Spiders for river fishing here in PA. Those on a football head jig are killers.

Got my first batch of Siebert jigs. Mostly morels, but wanted to try a couple of shot caller swim jigs to see how they compare to my current swim jig. They look very nice, expect I will be ordering more in the future once I deplete my stock some.

Managed to get 30 items from TW for 85 bucks. Picked up 6 packs of the small keitech crazy flappers hoping for a good Ned bait on a river loaded with craws.

I tried the Assassin a couple seasons ago. It's a super tough Flouro. Does not break easily. If might go back to it on my swim jig rod.

I tie some of my swim jigs with that jig head and I love it. nice sharp hooks, the eyes did come off after awhile, but I was catching enough fish that it was to be expected at that point.

I have the 733 and the 734. I started with the 733 and it’s not ideal for 1/2oz jigs in my opinion hence me picking up the 734 too.

I’m considering the zx with the Curado k as well for top water on my end- is that the setup you are going with?
