picked up a few things on saturday. 2 plano boxes one large crankbait box to help organize my jerkbaits.

one for my spinnerbaits & buzzbaits

i also picked up some spinnerbaits for the box can't have it empty 

i then picked up 2 project z chatterbaits and a few packs of havoc subwoofers

i gave 2 of the T1's to a buddy of mine for borrowing his pressure washer so i still have 7 for myself.  to be the best spinnerbait i can think of, they have the WORST packaging of any product on the shelves!  every one of these had the plastic front separating from the cardboard backing.

I'd like to fall in love with the spinner bait again. 

Hope these phonies don't live up to their name. Feels small. #not a Hinkle #hope I'm wrong

On a quick Walmart trip picked up 3 lipless in my new favorite color. Excited to toss the spots as I have never thrown one before, RES is my current #1 lipless bait.

That red-eye shad in that exact color is one of my confidence baits. I've caught a lot of bass on it.

No, just happened to be at Walmart and found myself in the tackle aisle. The spots are a good deal though at 3 bucks a piece. Did grab a Bass Angler mag too. I want to have a few orange craw RESs for next year so I can afford to lose one if I get some more musky hookups/bite offs.

Just picked up this excellent condition Dobyns champion extreme 784c. Couldn't pass up the deal.Haven't had a chance to fish it yet but it sure feels amazing. My longest rod to date, and hardly feels like it's 7'8". Balances perfect with my curado 200e7.

I wanted to replace the bearings in a Lew's LFS reel that I have.  I have never been happy with how it casts and figured it was worth giving new bearings a shot.  I got the Hedgehog Air Ceramics and in my limited yard-test, I am impressed.  I did some casting and pitching before the switch and marked my average distances and tested again afterwards.  Casting was improved easily 10-15' doing just a light flick of the wrist cast. Pitching was less improved, but it was super windy out and I hope I can improve on it with time.  

I also wanted to investigate a sticking handle knob on my PX68.  Unfortunately, tearing it down reviled a lot of light rust on all four bearings and a slight burr on the offending shaft.  I cleaned and lightly oiled everything, but there was little improvement.  I guess I am going to replace them as well.
