Everything arrived safely from the motherland today. I still need to track down the other 3 fx9 prototypes to have the full set

Loving the profile of those fx9s.  My finesse jerkbait box is already testing the seams tho

What is the "Photo and Music Clip"?

I assume it isn't a Japanese rap mixtape.

Haha it could be. I'm not exactly sure. Strictly for collection purposes. I didn't even open them.

It's a cool little bait with an adjustable lip. Might grab a few to actually fish with and see how I like them.

Those things look awesome. I'll throw some, someday.

I grabbed a little bit of everything at wally world. They finally stocked the fishing dept. after redoing it recently. Most of this stuff is for my son's birthday so I won't be fishing alot of it.  The gum is for when I kiss the bass. They hate bad breath.

Some pretty detailed finishes on those swimbaits! Were they custom painted?

Yes they are customs. I have about 20 of them now. Most are glides, but I do have a half dozen of bull shad customs.

The blanks are spro and painted by a couple different guys. Dudley Poteet and Robert Weiker.

Here is a few more

I really like the looks of those swimbaits! The bait monkey has me in the doghouse with the warden now. I've bought a lot of stuff the last month or so. So many great rods on sale for stupid cheap. I'll try to get everything together and take some pics. In the past month I've bought:

4 Fenwick aetos rods. A 6'8" MH casting, 7'1" MH casting, ANOTHER set of 6'3" med and mh spinning rods for backup

Powell max 3d 684c and I just ordered a 725cb

A daiwa tatula 7ft ml cranking rod

3 St Croix rage rods from the factory site. A 6'8" med spinning, a 6'10" med casting, and a 6'10" ml spinning

I still need to buy reels for a lot of these. Probably go with tatula ct's, and daiwa procyon spinning reels, but I may pick up another sv103, alphas sv, or t3 mx. I also like to buy used stuff, so hopefully I'll find some good deals on some lightly used stuff

I also bought a lot of lures, mainly deep cranks, swimbaits, and jigs, from several places. I had a few gift cards and I ran across some big lots of stuff on the flea market and on other forums

I got these in today. All 3 are done by Robert Weiker. He does some great work. He calls it the bleeding shad school...?

Speaking of F&S, I started my new job at F&S this week. It's been a solid 3 months since I succumbed to the will of the bait monkey. Ended up buying one of those Double Whopper Ploppers in Powder (white) and the Savage Duck (black and yellow spots). But I did get them for just over $15, so there is that.

Today's mail call was pretty good. Some original pre 2000 straight eye pop X's and some limited colors too.  '2 not pictured' 4 - RCS 1016 spools will find some homes also.  More goodies still waiting to be delivered. Made a small TW order also since it was 15% off. Needed a few things.

Hope they have some sort of employee discount system.

Haha they should. No fish will be harmed by these. Just being used as part of the collection.

Used 250 worth of gift cards and took advantage of the tackle warehouse sale. Several of the lucky crafts are on sale, so I got several sizes and colors. Also picked up some Norman cranks before the price goes up, some line, and some soft plastics in colors/brands I can't get local. After all I've spent the last few months I'll be surprised if my wife doesn't throw me out. That will be really bad since I'm pretty sure there's no way and can walk and carry all my rods, reels, and tackle very far

A little more praise for TW.  I called the day after my order was placed (day after the sale), they not only added items I realized I NEEDED but they also applied the sale discount.

And, FFO has an additional 20% off any order over $40.

Got an Abu Garcia Veracity in a 7 ft M/M spinning.  How did I justify getting a 7' moderate?  I like to fish small and light Rapala minnows in fairly open spots from the bank.   That and the base price was $64 after markdown instead of the usual $150.
