Hit up the Academy site for their $2.99 h2o bait sale.  Picked up some sunfish and shad swim baits.  Those things have great action amd for $3 you can't beat'em.  Picked up some wake and prop baits too.  9 baits total for under $27.  Even the wife was impressed.

Also picked up 180oz of Sonny's dip bait for those nights on the bank.

That is a good looking diverse order right there.:). Let us now how you do with the savage gear bluegill, I have been considering getting it and it looks awesome.  And I would love to try a gantrel, but I would be terrified to ever use it with its crazy price tag.

Wow, you went all the way to the top there! I have a feeling you'll like that setup!

I'm going to spool up my new jig setup tonight, a St. Croix Avid X and 7.2:1 Curado, 20 lb. Tatsu. The line comes today. Can't wait to try it out.

Ugh, been a bad week for me, new backpack for bank fishing, new rod, new spinning reel, more braid, LT sunfish, 5 packs of zman plastics, zman shroom heads, Hackney jig, zman chatterbait, vmc weighted swimbait hooks, and that's what I can recall, I know there's more.  But it's the best bad habit I've got

The savage gear bluegills are really awesome. I haven't caught any on mine yet but I have gotten some good bites (missed em). They have great action and you can get them to turn around with some practice.

Just picked up two Lucky Craft baits for 6 bucks a piece at Cabela's, a bone pro blue flash pointer 130 and a fat CB bds1 OR Tennessee Shad. Not sure if I did good or not with these as they are my first Lucky Craft baits.

DSG had a deal 5 Yum plastics for 10 bucks, so being the responsible planner I am, I picked up 15 bags.

2 Christie craws

2 Christie Critters

11 Packs of Dingers

Brace yourselves, bait monkey victims, Tackle Warehouse's memorial day sale is going on :devil3:

I got a couple Hudds. I needed one to replace the one that I'm saving to mount with my 11 pounder replica ;)

And I got another one in a different color.

Been a really bad month for me... getting ready to fish in a Central Open and have probably spent $100 on square bills. :/

A Whopper Plopper and Spro Little John alone cost me almost $30!  DANG YOU BAIT MONKEY!

Well the TW sale got me for a 1.22 on the plastic and 65 items. Thanks to generous family (my Wife) I was able to score me some Rage, Whopper Plopper, Anglers Choice, Zman, a HooRag and man the list goes on... Not too bad and really not a lot of money spent overall. Plastics, skirt materials, and sales can really drive the item count up without breaking the bank. May post some pics when it finally gets here. I am just impressed that I managed to actually wait till now without spending the cards lol.

TW got me. Mostly essentials but I splurged on a new whopper plopper 90 bluegill pattern and a firetiger cavitron for the post spawn bluegill bite.

You will totally fall in love with the Tatsu. I've been using it on my baitcasters #12 and  spinning outfits #8. I have not broke off one fish in over a year of using Tatsu for all my bass fishing. Indestructible Stuff!

I picked up the same color, my first choice was out and I have the 130 in loon so I wanted a different color. Curious to see how it works.
