Gentlemen, the monkey has escaped.  And he destroyed my "den" pretty badly:

But today I bought the means to contain him:

I hereby swear that I will not buy a single bit of tackle until I get that mess onto those boxes.

That's what I like to see, a combo tackle/handloading bench!

Man, that place could have hid Bin Laden for years!

See, this is what I need to motivate, the mockery of strangers. ;)  I started the other night, but quickly ran out of Tupperware.

Hah, that is the last of it to be packed away.  Before I got into fishing I was super into shooting and reloading.  Now, I have only opened my safe once in two years, and then just to oil them.  That little press is going to become a tying station.

That is how I got into this mess, I sold a single rifle, not even a super nice one, and blew it all on fishing stuff.  A $500 gun is just getting started, but $500 worth of tackle is like a shopping cart full of stuff.

Do you have a boat? That's where fishing smokes shooting from a cash flow perspective.

No, but I did just buy a fancy fishing kayak.  Being able to carry more then one or two rods easily is really blowing my mind.

I have 2 more GYCB colors and one lake fork tackle worm to purchase to re-stock for next year. Yet somehow my TW cart shows over $100+ of soft plastics. When does it end?

If this thread is any indication, I don't think there is an end... :-D

I agree- I used to be really into shooting and guns as well, but it's just getting too expensive. With ammo and reloading supplies as high as they are any bit of shooting or hunting winds up being expensive. I've switched over mostly to fishing too, and my reloading press is languishing on my workbench as well.

No matter how much I buy, that darn monkey is always on my back. I always see something else that I think I "need". Its really out of hand and to make it worse, taxes just came in and a bonus at the end of this month. I keep telling myself "save it, save it, save it, save it", but I'm not sure the monkey is going to let me.

A few weeks ago, I picked up a Biwaa Seven 5 along with some Soul Shads.  Recent 3' of snow and ice on the lakes/river has kept me inside and not fishing.

So having said that, I'll have to peruse TW's site this afternoon for revenge.

Yeah they look pretty good.  I've been eyeing them for a while and was hesitant on the 45$ price tag.  But I found a good deal on them, the guy selling only had limited colors.  30$ a piece!

Philo, It honestly depends on the quality, how clean/sharp the box Is, and how cheaply you can ship. The shipping will eat the seller alive which he has to pass on and that makes a bigger Item such as this difficult to sell.

You might be able to get $20.0 for the box but It will more than likely cost you $15.00+ to ship. There's a market for sure, you simply have to find the right buyer. :)

Sell it local if you can!

Although you never know...  Somebody out there had that exact box as a kid and may be scouring the internet for it.

1.92 for the yamamoto creature and senior.  Strike king jigs 50 cents each a buck for the structure jigs. Linkerhunt 2.24. Everything with the red label was 75% off while the green 70.  I think I got pretty good deal.
