Super User buzzed bait Posted December 31, 2015 Super User Posted December 31, 2015 Got my Powell inferno 6'10" L spinning rod today and only had a few minutes to look it over but it looks great! Brought it with me on an overnighter with the wife. Going to hit the bank at a small lake tomorrow and try it out along with the new Orochi! 5 Quote

Evan K Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Grabbed me 5 packs of Strike King trailer hooks (5 hooks to a pack) for $1 a pack at Walmart. They've been sitting in clearance for months and they finally knocked the price down to where I'd bite. Quote

Super User iabass8 Posted January 4, 2016 Super User Posted January 4, 2016 Just got my 3rd TW order. Big Sunline fan but the Tatsu couldn't be passed up! Picked up some tube hooks, BB crickets, Ish frogs, worms and some more Menace Grubs. Big fan of the Rage Menace but disappointed /w the color mix up on TW. Ordered some "Glacier" colored Menace Grubs thinking they would be pearl white /w gold flake. Glacier is actually, at least mine are, more of a translucent/opaque white /w blue flake. I'm sure they will still work great but I am really bummed that they aren't white /w gold flake. White /w gold tinsel is a swim jig staple around here. Quote

Brnnoser6983 Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Well.. I made it 6 months without a tackle order, but as they say "once an addict always an addict". Recently I bought a Revo s, and Vandetta rod. Than I had to focus also on my musky gear, so I bought 10 new lures. And let me tell you, at over $20+ a pop it hurts but feels so good. And now I just placed my first of about 4 orders on TW to replace and pick up the new stuff. 2 Quote

I back-ordered 1000 yds of the 10# for t-rigs and small jigs on spinning. Might throw some on one of my 50 size baitcasters. Also ordered some TRD worms and some mushroom head jigs. Trying to decide if i want to drop the $145 on 1000 yards of #15 or #20 for the baitcasters. Quote

Tatsu as well for that purpose. My first time using FC for main line. I'll have to see how it works. Quote
