microotter Posted September 13, 2015 Posted September 13, 2015 I just ordered a bunch of h2o express baits from academy. I never seen them in person bc I do not live by one. I love the look of their finishes online though. I got 8 hard baits for $32.00!! Quote
Super User Shane J Posted September 13, 2015 Super User Posted September 13, 2015 Just got a new cranking rod, and went with the Lew's. Pretty sweet. 1 Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted September 14, 2015 Author Super User Posted September 14, 2015 Just picked up this little guy. Can't wait to test it out in my creeks. Megabass Siglett Smoke Fur Finish I have a grand siglett, that thing is fun to use!! Makes quite the racket. Quote

DirtyDeuceGoose Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 That is indeed the dockrocker. Looks like a nasty little jig, may have to pick some up. 1 Quote

I landed the first fish to bite that on the first day I took it out. Great jigs! They skip really well and come through slop like it's not there. Get the deep throat hook. Ultra sharp and there's no coming off of it. I will never even look at strike king again. I'm a Siebert man, now! 2 Quote
Super User AK-Jax86 Posted September 14, 2015 Super User Posted September 14, 2015 Going to do a little shopping thanks to the Florida Trophy Catch program. If your state doesn't have this you need to take up a petition lol. 3 Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 14, 2015 Super User Posted September 14, 2015 You can get that deep throat hook on other heads from Siebert too. Look for the Dredge series  While it's not my latest purchase, check out this Random Jig Pack I ordered from Siebert Outdoors back in June:  Clockwise from top left: 3/8 Green Craw Grid Iron 1/4 Caldwell Special Brush 1/2 Sapphire Shad Swim 1/2 Falcon Craw Dredge Brush 1/4 Pumpkin Orange Bullet  All randomly chosen by Mike -- I didn't know what I was getting until they showed up...notice the hook on the bottom right! 3 Quote
poisonokie Posted September 14, 2015 Posted September 14, 2015 that's how it was when I opened mine. Aside from them all being dock rockers, anyway. I think my first purchase will be a random jig pack and some finesse jigs. Course, it is getting to be football season... 1 Quote

The hook on the bottom right is an Owner Deep Throat hook. Outstanding hooks! I really enjoy Mike's brush jigs with those hooks. One of my top producing jigs and worth the additional $ amount for a better hook IMO. 2 Quote
Super User MIbassyaker Posted September 14, 2015 Super User Posted September 14, 2015 The random pack seems like a gamble but it really isn't -- you know everything is going to be quality. 1 Quote

Super User S Hovanec Posted September 15, 2015 Super User Posted September 15, 2015 The reel was purchased in the spring in anticipation of the rod. It has been patiently waiting in it's box. Now they're together!  TwinPower 2500HGS with St. Croix SCV 7' MLXF      6 Quote
Super User kickerfish1 Posted September 16, 2015 Super User Posted September 16, 2015 Just a few jigs... Decided to buy some heads and skirts separately from a few of my favorite places. The end result is about every color combination out there. Those that only fish 3 colors of jigs need not look! 4 Quote
