Super User Gone_Phishin Posted July 8, 2015 Super User Posted July 8, 2015 You would probably be better served with a medium especially with the archangel series blanks. It's certainly possible with a MH but don't think you'll feel the extra sensitivity your seeking with the MH. This is all speculation, as I don't think any of us have an Archangel yet. I can tell you that the 7'1" MHF *** Black is very comfortable with 1/4 oz tungsten + finesse worm. You could ask *** how the MH Archangel compares power-wise. I hope some information comes out soon; the only pictures of Archangels in the wild that I've seen have been from 13 pro staffers or testers. Thanks for the info. Quote
Cgrinder Posted July 8, 2015 Posted July 8, 2015 The brown truck just dropped off a 7'2" H Zodias rod. Hopefully her mate will be here soon! Quote

It has decent sensitivity for a lower end rod. Pulled many a bass out of the salad with that thing. 1 Quote
Super User fishballer06 Posted July 10, 2015 Super User Posted July 10, 2015 Purchased myself a new rod last night for a deal I couldn't pass up. Local store had an Abu Garcia Veracity 7'11" H-Winch on clearance for $99. All clearance was an additional 40% off. I also had a $10 off a $50+ purchase. I walked out the door with a brand new deep cranking rod for $50, that retails for $150. 2 Quote
boostr Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 Last night I ordered a Lew's BB1 7.1.1 at Gander Mt. It was 20$ off the original price. This will be my new Jign' reel. 1 Quote

Had a scary moment when a pounder got stuck in some really dense lily pads and I heard the rod start to creak, but thankfully I got the fish to pull through without any more trouble. A little worried that I damaged the rod but I guess I'll find out on the next fish... 1 Quote
