Pulled the trigger today and ordered 2 new rod and reel combos:

Dobyns Fury 735c paired with a Lews Tournament MB (Pithching/Frogging combo)

Fenwick Aetos 6'6" med. spinning rod paired with a Pflueger Patriarch Magnesium Spinning Reel (This will be my new Smallmouth/walleye sweetheart combo.)

Now I'm like a kid before christmas waiting for santa (UPS or FedEx) to bring mynew toys. :D

LOL, thanks for the offer!

That Bumblebee swim jig (black/chartreuse) should do some damage on some muddy or stained water for me....

My brother and I each ordered an Inshore Abu Garcia Orra. My dad had some metered 30lb braid left over from spooling up his reels for our boat (every 10 meters is a different color so you can tell how much line you have out when deep dropping or trolling) so we put it on there, looks pretty cool!

Nice TW order. I am a huge fan of Keitech baits. I have fished all of their plastics and the results have been stellar. From keel weighted swimbaits hooks, to drop shots, swimjig trailers, and Texas rigged they flat out work. Durability isn't a concern if I am catching fish.

Don't do this to me!

Just kidding. I'm trying to branch out into swimbaits and swim jigs. I have a bunch of Netbait swim jigs ready to try, however I don't know anyone who uses them so I'm just going to experiment with them. I was thinking that the Keitech plastics ordered above might work but I have other plastics and some pork also.

In the past crankbaits and spinnerbaits have been my lure of choice but I'm beginning to appreciate the drop shot as my local mudpuddle is tough to fish. In recent past TW orders not reported to this support group, I landed a collection of shakey heads but have yet to use them. Oh, and true confessions, I just purchased a Bogagrip (315) and Ranger Pro Series rubber landing net. There, now, I feel much better.

Anyway, I want to put one more TW order together before winter (the budget has been totally blown for the year--bait monkey is to blame). I'm going to consider more Keitech swimbaits for sure.

Headed to the Mississippi next weekend so I had to take advantage of the tw sale.

Small TW order....some flipping stuff, going to try this fish friendly cull system to see how it fairs, and some more D&M bladed jigs because they always catch me fish

Caught one of my tournament keepers with the Missle Baits D-Bomb the weekend after I got them - decent, but nothing to write home about.

Also restocked on siebert jigs 2 weeks back. TW sale will most likely end with me purchasing at least one more rod....the bait monkey gets me almost weekly these days >.>

I'm gonna have to get some stuff at the TW 4th of July sale today!

Maybe that's a nest egg broken into :). The way I would do it if I did big orders would just be to save up what I alot myself for spending until I had enough. I have an extreme dislike of any amount of debt.

Maybe because you're too young to have a credit card?

TW sale got me...my goodies list

Lews 7'0 Med Hvy Mag spinning rod

Lews Tournament Pro HP 300 Spinning Reel

Dobyn's Fury 7'3 Heavy casting rod

Lews Tournament MB Speed Spool 7.5:1

I found an amusing trend as I looked at all of my previous TW orders. Anytime there is a 15% off sale...there is a larger than usual order placed  :laugh5:

I bought one of those satchel style tackle bags for myself on Father's Day. Now when I walk the bank I can just take the boxes out of the boat bag and put them in the satchel.

Well it's not tackle, but it is fishing related. My car I traded in wouldn't pull more than my little boat. Now I can open up my boat search to a bigger boat!

Looking for a full size myself, 2015 Silverado? I like the 2015 Colorados but don't think it would be that much of a difference pulling a 20ft boat with my Trailblazer

Walmart had Rodents on sale for $2 a pop, so I picked up some to try.

Also got some weights and a Pad Crasher jr. Hopefully I can start catching all the short fish hitting my Spros :).

Yeah 2015 Silverado. The 5.3 v8 pulls around 10k pounds.

I looked at the Colorado and the interior is small for the price you pay, a little more gets a lot more truck.

^^Usually Wal-Mart has free rodents, all you can catch.  Behind the Deli is always good for a few mice and a couple rats. ;)
