Does a motorguide x3 70# 24v trolling motor and a lowrance elite 5 fishfinder count? I couldn't help myself with the 25% off from TW.

The Memorial Day Monkey demanded $50. That 4.5" Swing Impact looks like a winner.

He got me for $50 from DSG, $165 from TW, and $100 from F&S...

Just bought it today after I demod it. http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/149282-kayak-bass-fishing/page-12#entry1775631. J Francho I wanted to demo the Ride 115, but it was just out of my price range.

Did you get a really good deal on the lure?

My 115x was cheaper than the lure 11.5 my friend just ordered from Austin Kayak. Either way you made a good choice.

Plastics bait monkey strikes again! Just about pulled my hair out trying to get this dang pic to fit to upload! Lol

Ouch to the couch, meaning you will not be able to lay down on it till you have worked hard enough to pay off all that stuff:)

Maybe that's a nest egg broken into :). The way I would do it if I did big orders would just be to save up what I alot myself for spending until I had enough. I have an extreme dislike of any amount of debt.

Thats the way I do it. I also try to avoid credit cards if possible. I live 45 minutes from tackle warehouse, I walked in and payed cash.;)

That's the "necessities" for me. I catch more fish on plastics (in particular roboworms, tubes and anything that says Yamamoto on it) than anything else. Plus those owners were a great deal. Can't beat a buck fifty a bag with the Memorial Day sale.:)

I have been bitten by the ML/light M spinning rod bug BAD.  Once my boat is in the water, it's going to be almost impossible to not just go and buy myself something nice.  It's been a tough week and I need to re-up my stoke levels again in a big way to break me out of this funk and get back in the swing of things.

Nah, I tried. I asked if they had any hold overs, but they had sold them already. I got the Lure for $1149, the 115X was $200 more and if I included the Paddle and pfd I would of been way over budget. I was also looking into the Old Town Predator XM that was in my budget but they were sold out. I did get a pretty good paddle and a good pfd. New Jersey Paddler has every brand, and they were the only place closest to me that let you demos, and they were an hour and fifteen minutes away. It was worth it cause I'm very happy with my Lure.

For sure. It's a nice boat. I was just curious. I got a 2014 115x for $999 plus $99 shipping. Came with a paddle, zooka tube rod holder, trolley kit, and 3lb anchor. I upgraded to a bending branches angler classic paddle for another $50.

I just fished the BCB National Championship up in north Arkansas.  Bought about $500 worth of baits to use up there...tubes, wiggle warts, drop shot, finesse jigs, Lucky Craft cranks in ghost wtml craw, bone colored sammys, and piles of jerkbaits!  Finished up in 2nd place and caught most fish on a shad rap and a spook

what you win?

I've always fished, but last year I got really into bass fishing. I started with a cheap spinning setup then this year I got my first baitcaster and loved it. After reading and reading about everything the bait monkey has it me hard and the field and stream that opened about 5 min away hasn't helped at all. Love walking in there and getting something new. This is a real addiction

Heres my latest purchases. I saw the Northland Mimic Minnows with nice jighead that were only $1 a pack, I use the head on the Keitechs seems to be working well.
