I haven't bought any tackle for like a month it's really a shame.

I just bought $84 in sinkers, lol. No, they aren't tungsten, I got ALOT.

Throw me in on being mostly done buying tackle. I want to get a Perfect Pitch before the pads come in and maybe another RH reel. Other than that, it's a few Siebert jigs and whatever the Pikes steal until Fall.

Of course, there's the nightmare scenario where the doctor tells me to stop fishing with my right hand and I have to unload and replace the lefties. That will be ugly.

Ok after looking at your post the ATAK is awesome. I would love to see one of these in person.

Yeah there are some amazing boats out there right now.

The predators are very similar if you like the dancefloor style layout and I'm pretty sure in the 13 they offer a center trolling motor console(!).

Also I really like the Lure series. That wheel in the keel just seems like the way it should be and I love the layout. They also offer a center electronics console a la ride 115x as well in their 13'er iirc.

I'll be able to compare the Lure with the ATAK once I get mine. The Lure is a sweet boat. It's heavy though, and is slow to turn. Reminds my of my old PBG. Not sure what use a bass angler will have for the built in cutting board.

J,

Another brand that I really like, and own, are Jackson Kayaks.  They are also built in the US and have great fishing platforms.  Depending on what waters you are going to be one I would take a look at the Cuda 12 or 14, Coosa HD or Big Rig.

That being said, I also want an ATAK....

I guarantee that a marketing guy is to blame for that. I thought that was a head scratcher too haha although my yak now does lack the ability to enjoy charcuterie I must say.

No, it was salt anglers with greater influence over the design.  Not all of the industry has a cadre of bas anglers doing R&D for them.

I have a Coosa. I'm not thrilled with it. The seat is great, but other companies have caught up, plus I stand more than I sit to fish.

Dropped about 500 something yet again at Tackle Warehouse on Teckel Frogs, Lucky Caft LC 2.5 DRS and some other miscellaneous things. I said that was it for a few months and then I just bought the Quantum Speed Freak. I'm going to put it on my Phenix rod for frogging. Oh crap I forgot and just a couple days ago I convinced my wife to go to the store with me to pick up a few more Plano 3704 boxes. They were out so I walked out with a new Phenix M1 swimbait rod. I guess there's a reason why we live in the basement. Fishing has got me broke all of the time.

Ah ok yeah bait board sounds more likely, didn't think of that.

How did you like the seat in the Lure series btw?

It's nice. It's a good big boy seat too.

Don't put all of them in your boat at one time...might sink it.

Does anyone find it nearly impossible to spend less than $50 from TW? Like when all you really need is to replenish a bag or two of soft plastics (whose production cost is probably a nickel), you end up buying stuff you don't need, but hope you will need within a few months, so that you can save the high shipping fee. Then a week later there is one other thing you forgot to order, because right now that thing is actually catching fish and you're soon to run out of it. Or it's something new you've been really wanting to try, but you neglected to order it. And the shipping cost for that one item is more than the price of the item itself. So you again buy maybe $54 of stuff, to get free shipping. This recurring process seems to build quite a nice bit of inventory in the garage.

I do the same thing, the free shipping helps me justify spending more. It's a vicious cycle considering the last thing I went to order was a 15 dollar spool of yo zuri and ended up spending close to 70 dollars...I'm weak...

And I usually toss in another $5 for the two day shipping. Between the free shipping angle, competitive pricing, and the tremendous choice of products, those TW people sure know how to reel in us anglers.

I wish there were some sort of membership option that would include free shipping. TW, are you there?

I just scored a Scorpion 1500xt and a Scorpion dc..both mint and with boxes and papers..both for $220 shipped from Japan. Then since I saved so much on those, I bought 2 scorpion zpi black bone knobs for the dc..
