Where did you find the Xcalibur Lipless in Rayburn Red?!?!?!

^probably off of FB for 25 bones lol I don't understand why people are buying them for that much when TW will have them in a couple of weeks. Here lately I have been seeing ridiculous prices on baits still available, but maybe not in stock. Makes no sense to me.

I went to a tackle shop in Clear Lake to pick up my permit. I walked out with a new SWaver,( I only had one and nobody has them in stock), a LV 500 in spring craw, (TW has a backorder for one for me, or was it to replace the one that I ended up loosing later that day), a super cool, eight wire bladed A rig, a small handful of Keitechs, (you can never have enough), snaps, rings, a small population of plastics, and oh yeah, a fishing permit.

The bait monkey got me good. Just ordered me two bulk packs of yama senko from dicks it's buy one get one half off. Comes to about 100 bucks for 200 senkos that's 50 cents a piece compared to 75 cents a piece when buying in packs of 10s. I think I'll be set for a few years Lol

My neighbor and I took an hour-long drive to Gander Mountain today. I got a basket full of lures and a 7'1" Med, Fast Action *** *** (black) that I'm going to pair up with a Daiwa Tatula (purchased online). It's my first baitcasting setup so I'm pretty excited.

Reading your post about DSSG's gave the monkey my IP address - didn't buy much, just a couple packs of 4" Senkos and a couple different Kreatures to try out this Spring (when baits stop BOUNCING off the water...)

ugh... Soooo.... I start looking at fishing videos and see blatant baitmonkey propaganda in the form of an ad for a jerkbait fishing show and now a week later I have a Revo MGX on a fenwick silverhawk rod just waiting for the $180 worth of jerkbaits to arrive from ***!

The baitmonkey decreeith and so it was that the cart was teeming with 4 LC pointers, 2 vission 110's, 2 SK KVD 200's, 2 Yamamoto Tenkuu's, 2 smithwicks, 2 duo Realis 100DR's, and 4 other random brands... also there was some split rings, trebles, and of course 2 new Plano 3771's to put it all in.

You'll get a kick out of this. It's a badge detail from that drum's grandfather, a 50s era round badge chrome on brass 8 lug snare. I wish I still had the rest of that trap kit.

Next best thing is hearing it. This is from almost 15 years ago, but it's the big DW kit, all the big K cymbals, and the 60 year old chrome on brass snare drum. I'm afraid you'll have to wait until late fall to hear the new wood drum, though it's quickly edging out my Omar Hakim African mahogany snare I usually prefer.
