Just got some lc pointers at Walmart 11 bucks each

Posted

That pesky money has been on my back like a nagging boss at work the last couple of weeks. He started with tricking me into ordering a bunch of bearings for my reels that *needed* to be upgraded. Then he snuck a 1000 size Symetre into my eBay cart and pushed the snipe-it button http://www.ebay.com/itm/400876968922?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT

Then I stumbled onto this pair of gems: http://www.ebay.com/itm/141603739193?_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AITThis particular monkey attack was completely unprovoked but nevertheless very much appreciated. Though both of these cost me money, I consider them good investments. I actually think I'll have the monkey check out my stock portfolio to see if it needs some diversifying... :laugh5:

I was doing ok till I walked through the local Walmart the other day. They had all of the Yum F2 stuff tossed in the $1.89 bargain box. Ended up walking out the door with all the Dingers and Crawpapi's I could carry. I still made it out under $30, so it wasn't a total disaster.

Just got in an order from "my personal TW," also known as a retired FLW co-angler in my church with a garage FULL of baits he never could use in his lifetime and gives to me at a big discount.

Never tried any of the soft plastics before, can't wait to start throwing flukes and lizards. They crush weightless soft plastics at my ponds.

All of the bags were consolidated with other bags and have about twice as much as normal stuffed into them:

-Two bags of Zoom Salty Super Flukes

-One bag of BPS Flukes

-One bag of Sug Gos he threw in as extra

-Two bags of Zoom Lizards

-One bag of FLW series Mann's Lizards

-Two Cotton Cordell Spots

He only charged me 12 bucks for the whole lot....when you consider that the bags had a ton in them there was probably about 40-50 dollars worth. very nice of him.

Once I get my trick worms that he forgot this order next week and my jerkbait comes in, my fishing "needs" will have been wrapped up. Now it's time to get some bass smell on those baits......

Sick ride! What color?

I went with sand. Only other choices were mango and blue. I put it off for a week so all the camo colors were sold out.

Didn't you just buy a yak?

Didn't you just buy a yak?

Yes, I did a few months back. I bought it because of the price and the extras that were on it. It really wasn't what I wanted so I sold it and got what I should have in the first place.

Just picked up a falcon bucoo spinning rod to go with my pflueger xt. Also two spools of seagur red label and two of power pro braid. There is a store that buys liquidated stores in my area so they have some real good prices. I paid $59 for the rod, $7 for the red label and $8 for the power pro.

I'm new around here but have been battling this bait monkey affliction seriously for the passed 5 years and am about to scroll through all 70+ pages of this thread. I have so many stories and moments of weakness. I am glad I finally have a place to share them with others who understand. Here is today's grab. Canadian prices are 20% more than America's right now...FML. Jackall everythang. d**n you Japanese bait monkey! Bonus 15$ Vibrato spoons from Sebile.

That rod is legit as hell. I have it in a 7ft med heavy and it was well worth the 50 I paid for it. Yum dingers were my senko bait of choice too last year. Worked swell.
