Brnnoser6983 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Thanks for mentioning the Sony. I was looking to buy a can to mount on my yak for this season. $128 and it comes with everything. Does the waterproof case have a 1/4-20 mount on the bottom? Only negative I see is when facing forward you can't see the screen and know if it's aimed properly. I think you can use a cell phone to use wifi and see the screen. Quote
Weld's Largemouth Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 I think you can use a cell phone to use wifi and see the screen. Yes you can if your phone is connected to wifi, in both this camera and the gopro, but the issue is, you aren't connected to wifi on the water or at the lake  3G or 4G or any type of phone data won't work because the camera has a wifi adapter not for cellular data Quote

Brnnoser6983 Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 At $160 I wouldn't have as high as standards as $400+ on Gopro Quote
Super User Master Bait'r Posted February 11, 2015 Author Super User Posted February 11, 2015 Hey any of you who got in on the hudd deluxe bluegill order like I did- any projection on when we should see those? Â I'm in no rush whatsoever - the water around here is still "drive an ATV on it" thick"- Â but I'm kind of curious. Â Â Quote
Super User Montanaro Posted February 11, 2015 Super User Posted February 11, 2015 My 7'7" tatula should be here today. Just need to order another reel, pliers, soft plastics, jigs, sunglass retainer, rod sock, couple crankbaits, umbrella rig, buzzbait, 20 lb line, and on and on and on. It's getting out of hand Quote
BassmanDan Posted February 11, 2015 Posted February 11, 2015 Where do I start? Two Metaniums, a Megabass rod, various crankbaits and topwaters, pliers, a Shimano fleece jacket, a Halo flippin stick, Gerber multi-tool, and I'm sure there's some other gear I've already forgotten about. Â Â Of course my wife is at work as I'm typing this...probably not too smart to leave a digital trail of the evidence but hopefully she won't see it. 1 Quote

Cool thanks, I was just curious.    Also, I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of my NRX 852c/51e mean green finesse casting combo and could use some of your thoughts.  The only reason I say that I'm thinking about it is because I have a really clean Supreme XT spinning reel sitting around and I think it would pair perfectly with an 7'1" MXF rod for my light plastics.  Just the ease and skippability of the spin, and the sexiness of those Envys...  I already have the reel and if I sold the Green Machine I could get the *** and have plenty left over to go back into savings.  It seems to make sense in my head.  Am I taking crazy pills??  WWYD?   1 Quote

thunderballs Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 Ordered a elite tech and an hmg. This one showed up right and the hmg showed up an eagle gt. One call and the vendor is making it right, oh well too cold to fish anyway haha. Quote
Mswen Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 The first day back out I'm going to be like a kid in a candy store, I honestly won't even know what to throw first.   I have this problem bad. The water is 50 degrees, what should I throw? A boring little plastic, or that new topwater that I was drooling over? I also have a problem where I will keep throwing a lure, even though I know I should change it, because I just want it to work.   My real weakness is crankbaits, and eBay is my biggest enabler. I have a weakness for anything unique or cool, like vintage crankbaits and especially handmade crankbaits. I have boxes of baits that have never seen the water, and others that I would like to repair but haven't gotten around to it. I've spent more than I care to admit on jointed swimbaits, especially considering, A: the number of baits it's gotten me, and, B: the number of fish they've caught. slimshad Posted February 12, 2015 Posted February 12, 2015 in the last week... Two of the $49.99 Pro Qualifier reels for back ups, several LC 2.5 on clearence for $9, 18" black wheels for the bass boat, Bass Mafia sweatshirt Beanie LS shirt, a new Skeet Pro Carbon rod, and several used baits from the BR Flea Market. Ugh I need to go fishing. Oh line for days, floro, mono and braid. Quote
