Just got off TW and the damage done so far is

Abu Garcia revo sx

Abu Garcia vendetta 7'6" MH fast-to match with reel

About $160 worth of jigs and trailers(strike king and booyah mostly)

A handful of booyah spinnerbaits

Some more braid

Reel grips

Now my mind is wandering as I want a setup for drop shots so may order all that aswell... Rod and reel, hooks, weights, lures, line or as I call it "the works"

That is what I am pondering. I have a bunch of drop shot gear picked out, but I went to the local tackle shop this morning, and picked it a bunch of tackle making gear.

yikes better be carful!!!

Yes I know, seeing all the gear and most under retail price you could def get yourself introuble.  Good thing I have a good job and no wife.  Then I'd be buying her shoes instead of me fishing gear.

The local tackle shop is my big weakness as well, I buy all this stuff online but then find myself walking around in the store buying stuff too. Its because there you buy it and have instant satisfaction, where online orders you have to wait for it to be shipped.

What saves me is there arent any major fishing stores here in Jersey. Most tackle shops are geared towards saltwater, leaving freshwater gear off their shelf's.

I think I have it good. I have a wife that doesn't have a shoe fetish, shopping problem. All she ask for is to get her hair done twice a year.

She tolerates my fishing addiction, and lets me shop for gear as needed. However, she doesn't know about my fishing fund account yet and her tolerance could go out the window with that knowledge.

Well... Let's see...

Since Christmas I have bought a revo premier, tatula type R, daiwa s-class 6'6" my-xf rod for jigs, 3 yo-zuri crayfish crankbaits,2 livetarget. Frogs, a live target mouse, 2 arashi wakebaits, 2 yo-zuri wakebaits, 2 yo-zuri squarebills, a couple spools of line, probably 30+ bags of soft plastics, 10+ bags of hooks, 5 more Plano stowaway boxes to put it all in. All in all I kept it under 600$ so far...but we have at least 10 week's til ice out so who knows...

Ok so I've been on a bit of a search.

Who else makes something like the Izumi alive diver? (A swimbait with a diving bill on the front that goes to 4-6').

They can't be the only company that makes something like that.

Boostr,

Have you purchased from Andys before? Any feedback on their various hair jig variations you could provide? Assuming you have fished their products.

First time I ordered from them. I just received them, and haven't fished hair jigs before, but there customer service is great. I'll give you the story, I ordered these in the First and received confirmation that they were sent on the second. A week later nothing, sent an e mrdail he got back to me the next day saying the shipment was returned to them because the label was torn. He tells me don't worry about it I'll send it 2 day service and throw in something extra. Get the package 2 days later with an extra bag of 3 hair jigs. I call that great cs. They are in the pick with No Charge written on the label. I'll pm you the web site. Actually travis23 on here turned me on to the web site, when I was looking into hair jigs for small mouth. They look pretty good. I ended up ordering buck tail jigs and a couple of Maribou jigs.

My latest addiction is searching Amazon for deals on plastics... their prices are all over the place (usually over priced), but if you find the right color you'll get a deal. Their inventory and pricing changes all the time. Anything Havoc less than $2 goes in the cart. The bait monkey just found a new way to get my money.

I got a beat down by a whole troop of monkeys today!20150115_140553_zps7fc7d9d3.jpg

Actually only 1 of the reels, the Deps, and 3 of the rock crawlers are mine. I picked 1 rock crawler up for a buddy and the other 2 reels are my Christmas presents to 2 of my fishing buddies.

I think I gave that Deps to my Christmas buddy this year. I had it for a year or two,

but never got around to using the lure.. Hmm...tell me a little bit about the lure, I

would like to give him a heads-up.

January the monkey had been on fire. New fishfinder and around $300 on tackle and then around the same on boating stuff and repairs :'(

Excited to see how this handles some brown fish in the summer. Might end up having the brown fish handing it to me; either way should be fun.

The bait monkey got me when I saw Tackle Warehouse had Seaguar line on sale.  I picked up a big spool of Tatsu, Invizx, and a couple of small spools of Senshi.

Can't wait to use the Tatsu.  This stuff looks amazing.  At first glance, you can see the quality difference between Invizx and Tatsu.  I never thought I would be able to notice something like this in fishing line.
