Less than 10 min. after I told Jeff that my reel would arrive tomorrow, the doorbell rang,

and there it was. Oh Happy Day.

Here she is.

Wow the reel looks sharp, first time notice they have red knob cap. As the yen keep dropping it's definitely worth the extra over the curado. Glad you received it safe cause I don't know what's going on with the custom my recent two packages from Japan has sit in Chicago custom for more than a week.

It's too bad the GL2 is a sub par rod otherwise a Scorpion and GL2 setup would look killer!

Got a Scorpion 1000/GL2 Merlot that look just beautiful paired together. ;)

Of course that was when the Scorpion 1000 was a few bucks above in price to the venerable Curado 100/200 B.

Nice looking reel. I'm curious to hear what you think. Especially compared to the Curado I

There used to be a time when the differences between both versions ( JDM & domestic ) were quite noticeable, nowdays the differences are insignificant, the looks may be different but perfoprmance is practically the same.

Sick reel! You know they have matching scorpion rods right? Lol
