Super User deep Posted November 14, 2014 Super User Posted November 14, 2014 Just wanted to see how many black & blue fans there are. If you fish more than one color (we all do), please choose the one you'd fish first on a new-to-you lake. P.S. Tom, I know the colors you fish, and you need not reply 1 Quote

long island basser Posted November 14, 2014 Posted November 14, 2014 Greens and Browns in 1/4 and 3/8 oz for me as I fish mostly shallow clear lakes. Quote
Super User Raul Posted November 15, 2014 Super User Posted November 15, 2014 Any color is fine as long as it's black. Quote
Super User whitwolf Posted November 15, 2014 Super User Posted November 15, 2014 Siebert jigs.... Black, Bluegill, and White/shad. On occasion, when the mood strikes, I will throw Falcon craw. Quote
BasshunterJGH Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Black and blue for the waters I fish. Quote
spotaholic Posted November 15, 2014 Posted November 15, 2014 Brown with Green Pumpkin chunk. Pretty simple but very effective. Quote
Super User iceintheveins Posted November 15, 2014 Super User Posted November 15, 2014 I carry generally only three colors of jigs. 1. Green Pumpkin 2. Black Blue 3. Brown/Orange If it's clear water, green pumpkin is what I throw almost all the time, though brown orange can be good if the crayfish are in that shade. In stained and murky, you just cannot go wrong with black/blue. 2 Quote

Super User Bankbeater Posted November 18, 2014 Super User Posted November 18, 2014 This year I have done better on 3/8 black jigs, with a blue trailer, in murky water. In clear water I did good with a 1/8 jig in green and brown. Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted November 18, 2014 Super User Posted November 18, 2014 black, green, brown, and white! Quote
Ozark_Basser Posted November 18, 2014 Posted November 18, 2014 My confidence color is green pumpkin or some variation of it. I only throw black and blue when the water is stained pretty good. Quote
