Super User Fishing Rhino Posted November 22, 2014 Super User Posted November 22, 2014 I remember when Zamfir albums were sold on tv infomercials. So were the Slim Whitman, and Roger Whitaker albums. That's why I thought some of the youngsters might remember them. Quote

quanjig Posted November 26, 2014 Posted November 26, 2014 The Black Keys? Are they related to The Ink Spots? My pop used to have a little fun with me, drew a couple dots on each palm of my hands and told me to put my hands up to my ears. As a tiny young lad, I did as instucted but asked him why? He replied,"you're listening to The Ink Spots" and would just howl with laughter!!! I didn't get it......... 1 Quote

5fishlimit Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Phil and the gangs second best album after Vulgar Display of Power, IMHO!!! 2 Quote
5fishlimit Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 For me, I would have to say that the album would be the Grateful Dead's "Europe '72". A very close second place would be Alice In Chain's album, "Dirt". 1 Quote
Super User Catch and Grease Posted November 29, 2014 Super User Posted November 29, 2014 I love the Ink Spots!!! I freaking love the ink spots too... The way I learned about them was through a video game I played when I was younger actually!!! I've loved them ever since I heard them then... I was watching the walking dead with my friend and one of their songs came on in the beginning and I was singing along without even realizing and they were looking at me crazy lol Quote
