I remember when Zamfir albums were sold on tv infomercials.

So were the Slim Whitman, and Roger Whitaker albums.

That's why I thought some of the youngsters might remember them.

I love the Ink Spots!!!

I saw them years ago, at the Canadaigua Holiday Inn.  They had at least one original member.  They were great.  I was probably around 14.

The Black Keys?  Are they related to The Ink Spots?

My pop used to have a little fun with me, drew a couple dots on each palm of my hands and told me to put my hands up to my ears.  As a tiny young lad, I did as instucted but asked him why?  He replied,"you're listening to The Ink Spots" and would just howl with laughter!!!  I didn't get it.........

For me, I would have to say that the album would be the Grateful Dead's "Europe '72".  A very close second place would be Alice In Chain's album, "Dirt".

I freaking love the ink spots too... The way I learned about them was through a video game I played when I was younger actually!!! I've loved them ever since I heard them then... I was watching the walking dead with my friend and one of their songs came on in the beginning and I was singing along without even realizing and they were looking at me crazy lol
