Smokinal Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 So I'm out running errands this morning, listening to and thought to myself, "I could listen to this one cd for the rest of my life!" So, if you had to choose one cd to listen to from now on, what is it? 1 Quote
Inflatable Raft Bum Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Any David Allan Coe album will do 1 Quote
Siebert Outdoors Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Nice Mark, I was thinking the Black album. 2 Quote
Super User aavery2 Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 I read your post earlier and have been thinking about it. While I can't narrow it down to just one the three that I am torn between are 1. Led Zeppelin IV 2. AC/DC Back in Black 3. Metallica The Black Album There are some other very good ones out there that I had to eliminate, and at a close number 4 was KISS Double Platinum, 5.U2 the Joshua Tree. Anyway...... 1 Quote
Super User MarkH024 Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 Nice Mark, I was thinking the Black album. Black was good....just not as good as AJFA. But other than the St. Anger crud they released, all Metallica is awesome. 1 Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 The only problem I have with that album is it's too short..I wish they had put a couple more tracks on it. Quote
Super User deaknh03 Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 this one is up there for me. 1 Quote

Back in the day, that was all they could fit on vinyl. Look at Permanent Waves - 5 songs, plus that turd "Different Strings," lol. Quote

Careful, you are dating yourself, next thing you know you will be talking about Pioneer Supertuners, Jensen Tri Axials, and 8 track tapes. 1 Quote
Super User J Francho Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 I'm only 42, going on 5. Perpetually going on 5. 2 Quote

Super User buzzed bait Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 good question because it's not about your favorite band/artist, but more about a single album you could listen to forever.... for me a good album is one that doesn't make me want to skip a single song. It's hard to just pick one, but a couple maybe yeah. 311 - soundsystem nas - illmatic rage against the machine - evil empire AND battle of los angeles, just combine into one album.... 1 Quote

Super User J Francho Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 Most of the "Deluxe" versions on iTunes have extra tracks. 2112 has some unreleased live tracks added. Quote
Super User K_Mac Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 Couldn't do it, there's too much music out there to listen to. Any one album, over time, would wear thin. There are many great ones, but just one would not work for me. It just really depends on my mood and activity-Emmylou's Red Dirt Girl would not work for working out at the gym... 1 Quote
BassSlayer71 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 Well... let me take this to left field and say probably 50 Cent's "Get Rich or Die Trying." Or maybe Nelly's "Nellyville." Man, I feel out of place on music with yall haha 2 Quote
Super User Darren. Posted November 13, 2014 Super User Posted November 13, 2014 No way I could pick one album. My tastes vary too much and often. 1 Quote
