Super User everythingthatswims Posted November 5, 2014 Super User Posted November 5, 2014 "Search Baits" get their name for a reason, but location is more important when trying to find fish than bait choice (no one has ever said that on here before ) and you have said nothing about your location/body of water/conditions etc. to help others on the forum provide advice. This time of year it can really vary since the guys up north are in a completely different world than the guys down south. Update with some details and I'm sure you will get help. Quote
OntarioFishingGuy Posted November 5, 2014 Posted November 5, 2014 Lures that will cover water quickly like cranks, spinnerbaits, swim jigs etc. Quote
Super User Crestliner2008 Posted November 6, 2014 Super User Posted November 6, 2014 Do a Google search on "Buck" Perry and Spoonplugging. He has your answers. Quote
Super User WRB Posted November 6, 2014 Super User Posted November 6, 2014 Get yourself a topographic map of the area you fish that shows depth changes. You can locate underwater structure using visual triangulation and looking at the terrain above water. The saying that 90% of the fish use 10% of the water is true. Use your brain to locate bass and your lures to catch them. Tom 1 Quote
