I have a college tournament coming up November 22nd on Logan Martin in Alabama.  I have fished the Coosa before but never there.  Also, I haven't fished it this time of year.  Anyone insight on fishing spots or colors to use?  I've heard the spots are very active this time of year on the Coosa.

flukes are a great producer for spots this time of year. i prefer baby bass color or albino.

also a 6' bullshad is a good lure for finding larger kicker fish.

flip a jig in green pumpkin/amber with a rage craw around isolated timber or dock posts and hold on. expect the water to be fairly clear (at least 6' of visibilty)

if you are allowed to throw it, the bama rig can be deadly this time of the year on long points or on schooling fish. havent fished up there since august so im not 100% on what patterns are going on right now but thats what has worked for me the last fall when i fished there.

Hope that helps and good luck!
