I'm more of a leech guy myself. Been using Gulp leeches lately and love 'em.

Depend if I'm fishing vertically or not.  I like a floating worm if I am, as it stands out off the main line better.  If not, I'm using a hand poured 4in. fry style worm that has a lot of salt in it. If I'm  using a Bubba Shot (heavy weight and bigger plastic) I go for a Strike King Coffee Tube with the tail dipped in JJ's.

There's a ton of good baits that work.  I like Roboworms, X-tail Shad, Shad-Shaped Worm, Gulp Alive Leeches and Minnows, 3" grubs, 3" paddle tails....the list could go on and on.

all good suggestions so far. Add a fluke or super fluke to the list, and any kind or size tube.

There are tons of great baits out there for drop shotting, but I try to keep it simple and stick to these 4 most of the time:

1 Berkley Bottom Hopper Junior

2. Missile Baits Fuse

3. Strike King Dream Shot

4. Strike King Baby Rodent

Try a strike king elaztec finesse worm wacky rigged. My dropshot success has skyrocketed since I switched from roboworm to SK. The action on that little worm in unreal.
