Last night I dreamed I was out fishing.  I had four rods, three baitcasting (two of which were custom I've been wanting from DVT!) and one was my ultralight spinning setup.

Bass were jumping all over, but they weren't biting what I was offering.  When I figured out what they wanted, I found that I only brought two tackle boxes and left the third with all the lures I needed at home!

I don't think I've ever been so scared.

How did you know what they wanted if you never had that lure? that dream seem a little suspect to me. :)

They were feeding on schooling baitfish, and I needed one that looked like a little bluegill!

Worst nightmare you could have.

That is the main reason we take 500 pounds of plastics and 1,000 hard baits with us on the boat.

You can't have enough baits, ever.

Nothing feels worse than having a blitz of bass all around you and not being able to get a strike....I have been in this nightmare, and it can chip away at your confidence really fast, especially when they are gone after 10 minutes and you realize that you have nothing to show for it except the sounds of Feeding bass that would not strike my best presentation I had......I am sure I am not the only one....Although a buddy showed me a trick that almost always works....A weightless wacky worm...I never would have tried that but so far this fall it is working better than a flutter spoon etc...

I've had the same nightmare - I got bit only to get spooled by Big Mama using a 1500 series Shimano spinning reel / ML rod and 6lb. FC while drop shoting ... * I even smell the Cal drag grease while getting spooled in my nightmare ... The horror of it all !!

I've had this happen during an insect hatch.  I only had the UL and baitcasters.

There are very few times I have wished for my fly rod as I prefer weighted lures, but this was one of the times I found myself wanting it.

I once dreamed I forgot my pants and went fishing.  That dream was way better than when I dreamed I forgot my pants and went to work.
