bassman1282 Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Guys, i have always wanted to start painting my own baits just for fun. I know NOTHING about it and want to know if anyone could recommend a good book or site that gets really in depth on EVERYTHING I need to know. I'd really appreciate it. Quote
harshman Posted April 10, 2007 Posted April 10, 2007 Try giving www.airbrush-depot.com a try. I've gotten many of my parts and my compressor came from there. Reasonable prices and great customer service. Harshman Quote
BIG M Posted April 11, 2007 Posted April 11, 2007 There's nothing to it but practice and more practice. All you need is a good airbrush (Iwata) spend the extra money now or you will be doing it later, compressor (cheap one from harbor freight), filter trap, paint (wildlife colors airbrush paint) and your ready. Ask any questions you have right here and you will get the answers. Quote
BOOYAH Posted April 14, 2007 Posted April 14, 2007 I was wondering if you could use a fullsize air compressor with a regulator? I have a 60gallon compressor and a regulator, but was just wondering if this will work or not? That is a cool website too. Quote
wickyman Posted April 15, 2007 Posted April 15, 2007 You would have to have a regulator in order to use a tank that size, but I don't see why not... I actually am running a paintball regulator on a smaller high pressure tank, just to regulate it down to a slightly more user friendly pressure. Quote
